BH , yes he was. I have never met him. But he was there..
From memory he bought one of the framed T shirts , with all the flag years on.
Another MG connection I think is Scott Slater. I believe he is Keith Skaters son.
Played 7 games with the two blues.
Also Max Johnson, played a season with East Fremantle .

Josh Inglis scored a ton in a Shield match today. Alex Carey is on notice to knuckle down in the last 2 tests in India to keep his spot.

So Agar gets to come back to WA to play a shield game or two and then goes back for the one dayers, where he can sit on the sidelines again while they play Zampa and Maxwell......

The FF points these guys must rack up by continually flying home and back again must be amazing.

The only one who wont be happy with this outcome is Rolands brother, because he is a regular wicket taker for WA and im not sure how good Agar will go playing at the WACA then going back to India for one dayers

What about Lance Morris PH?
With the pitches being served up by the Indian groundsmen he is next to no chance of actually playing a Test over there and especially with Cummins as the Captain having to play and needing 2 or 3 spinners per Test.
Surely it would be more beneficial for his cricket and Ashes ambitions to be coming home and playing some red ball Sheffield Shield cricket and not running drinks out for those chosen?!

Morris is 5th in line behind Cummins, Starc, Boland and Green so with only 2 pace bowlers chosen in the tests he has next to no chance of playing. As BH said, much better for him to push his ashes claims in the Shield..

Agar has been treated appallingly by the selectors, he was clearly picked as the 2nd choice spinner to Lyon when the team was selected. He now appears to be 5th in the pecking order behind Murphy, Swepson and Kunemann ( remember he wasnt even initially selected). All this has happened in spite of the fact that Ashton has not had a chance to bowl in a competitive fixture while he has been in India

The whole tour has been chaotic and the management of the team need to be held accountable if the side does not at least compete with the home team in the last two games

Spot on. From selection to man mangement, an absolute shower.

Surely Ronald McDonald gets the DCM after this?

Bancroft in, Warner out. Now that would be justice. That poor bloke has been hung out to dry while it’s all about Warner and Smith. Cam Bancroft the forgotten man from sandpaper-gate.
Get on your bike.

I see the Poms well Harry Brook anyway are continuing the Bazball attack on the NZ bowlers over there in Wellington at the moment scoring at just under 5 an over and nearly 300 on the board just after tea.
Brook is heading towards a double century and at well better than a run a ball, that is now 4 centuries in his last 5 Tests!

BH: goodie, 3 yorkies on that quickest to 'thousand runs', list: sutcliffe, hutton, and, of course, brook himself.
