McDonald hasn't got a clue Mike.Hes as useless as a coach as he was as a player.
Every batsman got out playing the same sort of shot.Of course it was a team instruction.
I would have a clue about how many Cricket clubs play in the greater New Delhi area.My guess it would be well over 100 clubs.Pretty sure they could find suitable nets without much effort.
Aha a quick Google search.Theres 111 Cricket clubs in the New Delhi area.Probably juniors and adult teams at each club.Jeez probably over 500 teams in that area alone.
Nowhere to practice?  If there’s approximately 4/5 hundred clubs in the area, they would be lining up begging the Aussies to use their premises for practice.  Indians are cricket crazy and would love the chance to watch them in the nets.  You could only guess how many would turn up to watch.

Spon on 58 .. Thousands of kids would be there watching. There treating us like fools.

BH I think he's cuddling the Indian players .I think of players like Hayden,S Waugh,Border,Langer,Greg Chappelle,Mark Taylor.David Boone.Dean Jones...Who would bat for 150 balls on those wickets. And never surrender there wicket.

I wonder what's going on for Steve Smith at the moment. Here is a guy who averages 60 in test cricket, will probably go down as one of the all time great batsmen. His biggest strength has been to go into his own little bubble when batting, play each ball on its merits and drive bowlers to distraction because they literally could not get him out unless he made an error which was rare and usually only came when he was over 100.

I watched him yesterday and in other innings in this current series and he has looked very uncomfortable and distracted, uncertain with his footwork and stroke play, culminating in an ugly cross batted hack that led to his dismissal amongst the carnage yesterday. Most uncharacteristic of him. Why is this happening to him? is he:
1.  declining from his previous high standards and on the way out or
2. totally befuddled by the crap being fed to him by the coaching staff and others to the extent that he has lost confidence

I don't know about you guys but I suspect 2. The problem is that Smith has been carrying Australia's batting for so long that his current lean trot has exposed the soft underbelly of Australia's incompetence against a half decent bowling attack

Thankfully I was at a weekend reunion in Kal/Boulder, and did not see one ball bowled.
Read today that Agar and Morris,  may be returning home. I hope that Agar asked to be sent home. CA have insulted him enough.
Morris will be better if playing Shield cricket than bowling to the Aussie batsmen.

They couldn't handle Langer, how will they handle him?
CA allowed the players to step all over them and put a cream puff in the head coaching position.
They have no discipline as individuals or as a team.
Mike, I think Smith is getting worn down by the lack of batting support he is getting.
It is almost like he has been worn down by the housekeepers shot being imposed on the team.
Sweeping was spoken about before the team left.
But now they are talking about changing tactics will, once again, be fraught with more failure.

Mostly they were for the quicks.
Really not a lot of good spinners from there.
The centre wicket back in my days was sometimes talked about as close to the best wicket in the country.
Seldom used, but it was always a cracking pitch for international teams to visit.
Not sure if any here know Mick Oshaunessy, played I think , 5 seasons at Midland Guilford, when they were a good side. But The Fox was there for the weekend. A legend of the Goldfields cricket.

Yes GTR & AM Mike O'Shaughnessy played in that great successful era at Midland-Guildford where many players featured at both International & Interstate level.
AM was Greg Bond at the Great Boulder CC reunion?
I see he has a pacer running around currently named Great Great Boulder, actually I see it is racing tonight at Gloucester Park.
