Everyone knows it is the best stadium and equal best pitch in the country bar Cricket Australia mate.
They are absolute muppets who make the WAFC & AFL look competent and that takes some doing believe me!

Hey BH when you say equal best wicket. The other wicket is Gabba,Adelaide or Waca

The Gabba mate, I like to see a bit of pace, bounce, swing and if the batsmen are good enough they can score runs as well, much like the conditions we have here at Optus Stadium/WACA although more humid over there and less wind.
Adelaide has been alright as well of late with the switch to day/night pink ball Test otherwise beforehand was pretty flat and renowned as a batsman's paradise which the MCG has now taken the mantle of.

Will Pucovski has already been ruled out for the decider at the Gabba with that shoulder injury he sustained in the field at the SCG on Monday, the wretched luck for the young bloke continues.
Marcus Harris has been named as his replacement, yet another chance to make an impression in which he has failed before.

I keep telling you (and the selectors) Freeze the bloke is not a Test batsman.
He averaged 29 (28.43 to be exact) when he was playing for WA and has now moved over to the Vic roads to try and fatten that up a bit but still the poor shot selection and execution continues, and please lets not take too much into his 200 against a piss poor SA attack late last year on what was essentially Rundle St!

Gee that was soft by Smith....now here's the conundrum....for a decent score Wade needs to make runs, though who wants Wade to make runs....if he does he keeps his spot...hopefully Green can back up that 80 odd of his..

Now two moronic pull shots from Wade and Labuschagne....yeah great knock from the latter....but geez he had a double hundred in the making there...as for Wade...been there done that, too many times to pass comment on in all honesty....Warner is so far the only one to get out to a decent delivery...

yeah pretty ordinary batting today against what must be the most inexperienced attack in test history. Up to Paine and Green now to push the total closer to that 350 mark which is what they would need to take advantage of winning the toss.

Maybe Wade should change his name to Fade? Bats beautifully then has a brain fade. Labuschange seems a bit selfish when he got to 100 and Wade got out he was trying to hit everything for four. How about digging in for the new man in and the team Manus?

No better opportunity here for Paine to score his maiden test 100...ditto to Green too...though Paine could easily get out early....see off the new ball....get over 400 and then let the bowlers loose...

Really wouldn't begrudge the Indians a little bit of luck if the weather should come to their assistance and they draw the 4th test, thus retaining the Border- Gavaskar trophy.
They have lost their entire front line bowling attack to injury as well as a few more back ups . Their batting has been weakened by the loss of Kohli and their best all rounder in Jadeja. They were bowled out for 36 in the first test. Through all this they have shown remarkable resilience to the extent that the Australians were unable to dominate an inexperienced 3rd choice attack in the first innings of this match and were it not for Labuschagne and a few costly dropped catches the Aussies could have been staring at an embarrassingly low first innings total.
Fact is the Australians have just not been good enough in this series and their overall cricket has generally been slap dash, shoddy and over reliant on a few players. Even if they were able to manage to squeeze out 18 Indian wickets over the next 3 days which looks very unlikely given the forecast, there are a number of players who may need to be concerned about their positions in the side for the next series, Starc, Wade, Warner and even the Captain may be looking over their shoulders at younger players who may deserve an opportunity. Josh Phillipe, Josh Inglis, Kurtis Patterson, Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith are some who could push up to join Pucovski and Green who have been blooded in this series.
Given the circumstances of this series, Australia should have won 2-0 at least and the fact that India are in a position to retain the BG trophy after all their tribulations is a triumph for them and a massive fail for Australia.
