Unfortunately Freeze Green was exposed just before lunch and the second new ball became available by a putrid shot by Wade who threw his wicket away in the same fashion he did in the last Test.
Absolutely zero game awareness from Wade, which actually doesnt surprise me as he doesnt come across as the sharpest tool in the shed.
The sooner we can find another decent young middle order batsman in the country and then we can dispose Wade & Head for good, the better!

Yep saw that Wade dismissal BH....how in fark has he captained at State level is beyond me....scratched my head also why Green didn't get a bowl yesterday as well....Reckon with Aust 200 odd for 3, Smith going well, Green should of come in at five v the old ball, get his eye in, some runs and confidence up....Wade better at 6 and had recently opened v the new ball.....and in all honesty Wade is expendable....be interesting to see where Aust can find that number 6...perhaps fast track Philippe, he has made runs at 6 for WA from memory...pop Inglis in as WK at 7....Warner is old, so ex WA boy Harris comes in for him

Great day 3 for Australia and they really should go on and win this test comfortably now. The bowlers hunted as a pack and kept the pressure on India for the whole innings. With doubts about Jadeja and Pant batting in the 2nd innings another 100 runs tomorrow to bring them up to a 300 lead should be enough to see them do the job. However if India allow Smith and Labuschagne to settle in on day 4 they will be chasing a lot more than 300.
Overall Pucovski would be happy with his test debut but he need to do a little more work on his technique as he has a tendancy to shuffle in front of his stumps and lose his shape which makes him vulnerable to LBW shouts.
Thats something he can work on though as he certainly has the temperament to succeed at this level

Nice knock by Green with his top score of 84 that has helped us to declare with a lead of 406 at the Tea break on Day 4.

Southy it will be no surprise to either of us a handful of racist rednecks in the crowd at the SCG were pulled up and thrown out for racially abusing the Indian cricketers with young Siraj looking deeply hurt by comments directed at him.

What dickheads those lot are. If there is evidence they should be banned from any event at the SCG, maybe any ground in Australia for 4 years. They are young and should learn but also probably should know better than older spectators.

According to a witness account from someone called Rishi Arayan, those guys were just calling the Indian Siraj "Shiraz" and generally taking the piss. Arayan wasn't sure what all the fuss was about and didn't think it was anything nasty. Yes agree on Green...the pull six off Bumrah was a beauty.

Great to see Green score well and open his shoulders. Looks like he can play the Shane Watson role in the test side.Medium pace allrounder as Lyon struggles to take wickets on the SCG.Might bowl a lot of overs on day 5 to keep our fast bowlers fresh.
