Don't waste your logic on Freezin SS his primary joy in life is stirring the pot and he is a past master with a degree with honours at it.

The surface may have suffered from the State Country Seniors vs South Australia and the State Country Colts vs WAAFL Colts the day before. Was a bit of rain prior to both games being played.

Freezin did you get delivery of the XXL wooden spoon recently. It is a pretty simple explanation: a team of part-time footballers versus full-time footballers.

It was probably Cary's best game for the season and should be a turning point in his career at the mighty black and whites.

These young swans blokes aren't hardened seasoned players with many pre-seasons under their belts, that's where the endurance factor kicks in. The youngsters will have that pace and enthusiasm but maybe have yet to learn to pace themselves and positions themselves like Jones who is a seasoned campaigner.

Very reasonable comments S/S and it would obviously help Jones to have Freo players getting our better onballers and defenders.

DG I haven't had a chance to watch the replay of the game yet; when I do I will be very interested to hear the background noise in the coverage. If you weren't able to hear any noise from the Swan's supporters I can only deduce hat it was a deliberate decision by Channel 7 to ensure that only the Peel supporters would be heard in the coverage.

This is not a defence but they seem not have the effects mikes out the same way the ABC did (have seen them set up oat a few games, comes from being there at sparrows) or they do at AFL games. Perhaps just the level of coverage that the wafl gets!

Now that the disappointment has subsided ( somewhat) a few more reflections

Elari - slotted back in like he had never been out
Cary - His best game of the season by a long way
Wilson - This guy can really play, he will be a gun in a couple of years
Jukes - Gave his opponent the run around and was a real target up forward, that mark in the goal square was a beauty
Broad Did a great job nullifying Mzungus influence in the 2nd half and this contributed to the fightback.
Ames Keep him at full back. The defence looks so much better with him there.

What is the chance of Wilson doing a Hughes and going under the radar and getting drafted from no where?....out of all the youngsters you boys talk about, he seems to be the one with elite skills....which is something AFL scouts seem to like......

as for stirring the pot.....SD will beat Cl this weekend and that last 10 min v Peel will be forgotten in no time......no time at all!

With Howie being out I would have had Ames down back from the first bounce. On another note Clarke, Mzungu, Blakely & Jones won the last 5 centre clearances not Jones by himself as that flog at the Worst would have everyone believe!

Would of been huge if Swans had of got over the line on Sunday against Peel-Dockers.That would of been 3 great wins in a row.
