what shits me is that you have big body professionals clanging into blokes that work for a living, train part time and play their hearts out. The whole alignment is a bloody disgrace. On 6PR this morning it was mentioned that there is going to be some radical changes to the WAFL over the next few years. ???????????????????????. What ever changes they may be, changes need to be done now.

Depends what changes are being made Winger? Will the 'changes' further diminish the Wafl or improve the competition? What consultation process or processes will take place I wonder? If not why not?
Swans can still hold their heads high after today. From what's been said, the problem in this match being their slow start. Did a credible 23½ disposals per goal and ran a good pace rate of 28%. And losing by the narrow margin has not dented the percentage too much.

The Swans' players, members and supporters should be very, very proud of our league team's performance against the Fremantle Dockers' reserves' team this afternoon.

With respect to our colts' performance this morning: Peel should have been 6 - 8 goals in front by half time, Once the oval dried out our skills improved in the second half and we were pretty impressive in the second half.

What can one say about the reserves' game. First and foremost it is a disgrace the scheduling of a WAFL league game at 11.40 am. It should never happen again. Most of the crowd left before the reserves' game started. As a consequence there was little atmosphere during the reserves' game and was exacerbated by the quality of the Peel reserves' team. One would think there would have been greater intensity during a training session than there was during the reserves game.

And our Reserves side thrashed the Real Peel League team too 42 ..good win to the Colts boys as well.

Yep winger, I heard that, I posted on this on another thread, a few things were mentioned, one wafl club is preparing a move to WAAFA, a under 18 comp by passing the WAFL,people are in for some big shocks in store, Ive been predicting this for ages, one thing for sure is it will not stay the same.

The West said 2000 (approx). I would be surprised if there were that many.What did it look like to the people who attended. Also was the ground as cut up as it looked on TV?

The surface was terrible Mike obviously the Royalties For Regions funds stopped at a new grandstand & scoreboard ..there would have been 2000 there mostly made up of Swans supporters as per normal tho to be fair those few sad sacks who do support "Peel" would be still coming down from a huge night on the crack pipe at 11.30am on a Sunday morning!!

All I could see & hear on the box was peel bogans. Of the 10 ppl there most would've been peel fans
