Thank you Mike. Peel are similar to East Perth, if you catch them on a day with a few more experienced AFL players and big bodies your up against it. Which has been more often than not this year. Just another quirk of this alignment model.

Only watched the last qtr but thought the coverage was quite ok. The oval as many others have said looked appalling but didn't see players loosing their footing, usually at this time of year it's Leederville that's suffering due to it's massive workload and poor drainage but Leedo is looking quite good by comparison.

Really impressed with how Swans fought back and got a tidy lead but then Clark was moved into the ruck about the 20 minute mark and his tapwork was decisive, 3 or 4 times in a row he nailed it to Jones for a clean centre break and the Peelmantle forwards finished it off. The Swans boys just ran out of legs against the fulltimers in the end.

Great to see that Swannies were on the right side of the free kick ledger for a change, as were subi for the first time in a long time, but then again not unexpected when you win by 132 pts.

I assume you have taken into consideration those patrons indoors at the ground for the function for the late Steve Bazzo?

Senior, how does the youngest side in the WAFL run out of legs, yet an old man like Jones is still firing on all cylinders to make all those crucial clearances?.........good to see a WAFL stalwart like Jones get some finals footy before he retires......always a silver lining I guess if one looks hard enough.......good to see Cary back in the goals especially at this time of the season.........always a silver lining where ever you look.

That is a good question freeze but I did witness the likes of Barone, Green, Bannister et al fall in a heap in the last qtr vs SF the Sunday before and that wasn't even vs a team of full time professional athletes either! B)

These young swans blokes aren't hardened seasoned players with many pre-seasons under their belts, that's where the endurance factor kicks in. The youngsters will have that pace and enthusiasm but maybe have yet to learn to pace themselves and positions themselves like Jones who is a seasoned campaigner.
