Yeah I thought the oval looked well below standard for a WAFL ground. You'd think the Dockers could pump a few bucks into it so their players wouldn't risk turning their ankles on it.

OSG surely it is theoretically and numerically impossible for SD to have had 10 more free kicks than the opposition.......

Probably the one at Joondalup was more disappointing but this one wasnt far off and in this season where every game is crucial these sorts of games can make the difference from finishing 3rd or 6th. In the wash up and analysis of the game I'm sure the coaching staff will point out that you just can't afford to give a quality team the 6 goal start that Swans gave them today and expect to win.

While I am on a rant I thought the Channel 7 coverage was pretty ordinary and the low point was when they cut to an interview with a McDonalds manager to announce a extension of their sponsorship right in the middle of an important play in the game.

The highlight of the coverage for me was when they interviewed Greg Harding at 3 quarter time and the interviewer asked him something along the lines of what it would mean for Swans to win the game. Gregs reply was something like it would be great for Swans as a community based club ( strong emphasis on the word "çommunity") to get a double chance. The intent of the message certainly wasn't lost on the commentators.

One more from me then I'll shut up and let the other Swans boys take over.

Great fightback by the Colts boys who were also down in the first half but took their opportunities where Peel didn't.

Also the ressies are getting big numbers in a real romp to half time. Alby Dean 27 possessions, Nuich 3 goals. So the Colts and Reserves have booked their places in September, can the league boys make it a trifecta? Massive game looms at the Showgrounds next week.

F**k it im so annoyed at today but now Ive cooled down I'm taking it as a win considering who they had in Clarke, Duffield, Mzungu, Dawson etc etc..and our colts plus ressies smashing them! For the youngest list in the comp its a win in my book f**k em and everyone else!
