I guess if you have won a Sandover, a few F&B and played well in a couple of State games and a GF .... and still get AFL snubbed, can't blame the guy for wanting an easier life footy wise. The sort of guy Tropiano is with his footy, if he was going to play WAFL surely he would of been up doing a full preseason.

Is Jye Bolton still heading back East? Read some where the fella was heading to Werribee next year to play in the VFL?

Shayne Zanetti looks like he has returned to WP, he is a talented tall that if he can shake the injuries he will be a handy acquisition.

Totally irrelevant but I just felt like sharing with someone as I’m sad. Was looking at my school photo of 1978, half of the boys are proudly wearing their WAFL team jumpers. I was thinking the grandkids or maybe even kids of those in the photo probably don’t even know what those jumpers mean. How the hell did things change so much so quick... I miss those days ?

Those flogs were obviously not real supporters fellas, no real supporter in their right mind just walks away from their club and competition overnight!
Mind you having every budgies and dorkers games live on TV from the get go has worked perfectly for those particular theatre goers!

Unfortunately the commercialisation of the game especially in Viccoland has killed off any opposition to it's rule - and all the grass root clubs that founded it
and the open racism that exists at almost every AFL game now is just the perfect example of how much that "comp" stinks
Fuck off Viccoland & congratulations - you've singlehandedly ruined what was a fine sport

The classic Southy is those whinging, whining Vics who complain that their comp (vfl) was ruined by these "Interstate" teams.
Fark me they have had their state comp that was no different to the WAFL & SANFL actually elevated to supposed "elite" status whilst we have had to watch our great comps that were older then the vfl take a huge back seat in their respective states, not to forget that vfl clubs like Collingwood, Richmond, Footscray, St Kilda, Geelong, North Melbourne & Melbourne would be long extinct if it wasnt for those same "Interstate clubs" and their licence fees they provided and broadcast monies they injected into that debt ridden Vic state league competition and those certain bankrupt clubs above!
