He wants to return to Subi after 1 year away and is prohibited from doing so by a rule that was designed by the WAFC to do exactly that...the Zac Clarke Rule.

My point exactly. Subi go on about this rule like they developed the guy but he was only there for 1 season

Unlikely Cody Ninyette will be released (and rightly so) from Perth to South Fremantle even if he has initiated the move
However an recently delisted AFL guy may end up at SFFC

According to some here, Ninyette is training at SF.

Ninyette and Leggett to sit out in 2020- great for the Ammos.

Good to see SF guys have a better understanding of contracts than their port rivals. KCEF, should we choose (as we should) to hold those players to their contracts, they won't be cleared to play amateurs either. It will be entirely their choice whether they want to take a year off footy.

Wrong. You can't hold them out of amateurs

they can get a permit to play ammos or another league below WAFL.
I take it the money tree at East Freo still hasnt provided the required amount for the transfer ?
the WP calculator still giving a different amount ?

I think the originating club has to lodge the permit allowing a player to go to another comp or at least agree to it and Perth could make them stand out for a year if they didn't want to play for the Dees....that's my understanding anyway.

This is from the rules and regsā€¦.

The WAFL promotes the development of Players within the state and allows WAFL Clubs to temporarily register a Player for competition through the use of permits. The permit will be regarded as a Temporary Registration in the respective league for the duration of the permit.
