Yep Mate - Whole things been blown out of proportion, I thought the review was pretty light on tbh, West Perth have already come and said it wont impact them in any major way and it business as usual, that was my thoughts right from the start, what obvious is some on here made up their minds before the report was even handed out that they would oppose anything it said, now they are trying to find something to jump up and down about, s42 even suggesting his club fold, absolutely bonkers.

Bazza it may not concern you that the South's colts are going to be ripped from South Fremantle. However, it concerns me that Swans' colts as of 2018 will no longer exist.

How do any of the recommendations enhance the WAFL?

As for Freezin you better check out some Rugby Union forums as there won't be a WAFL forum for very much longer. That is, apart from the unholy trinity of Bazza, Freezin and unholytugboat!!!!!!!

Change those abbreviations of WAFC & AFL to USA...and WAFL to ISIS and that post of grassy's is a tad concerning Bazza!

42...perhaps I should have a chat with a mate of mine down at the ABC and get you and Grassy some air time on their Q&A program... .....pretty sure the Boston report will be discussed with as much gusto as that euthanasia debate last night....though I can see the similarities in importance between both arguments....literally!

Good interview with Subiaco CEO Peter Capes on WAFL World last night about this subject. would suggest he is doubtful about outcomes and is requesting more information be supplied

Unfortunately mate , the numbskulls that decided to prop up the financially stricken VFL in 1986 are to be held accountable for this.

And I have to ask - if this VFL $$$ basket is available , why haven't these funds been returned before now ??? Why has the WAFC/AFLWA been so negligent in attending to the game in this state for so long that it has reached this stage?
And surely someone can see that the AFL wish is for mindless robots (our boys) to be prepared for their system , robot's that have no thoughts about a game or how to help win it , no - the Victorians just want fodder through the draft door to support their ridiculous expansion into Rugby States that requires millions of dollars each year
Fark everything else like the ACT leagues , Qld leagues , Tassie leagues , etc

And for a body to propose itself as an industry like the VFL does - it still after all this time refuses to provide any after-football program that assists the rejected & ejected fodder from their dirty system

That must be why West Perth are so upset.

Swan you are not the only one passionate about WAFL, I will have you know my family has had a NON STOP continuous involvement in SFFC for 100 Years , the difference between my view and I think yours is that unless we change in some way there will be no survival going forward. The WAFL has not been the same for ever and ever Amen over it course things changed, i.e. clubs came and went, SDFC is a relative new comer.

Agree Southy, at the end of the day , it was the council of WAFL presidents that created this mess in 1986, mind you we voted NO, but in a democratic vote we lost out, from then on its been a comedy of errors.

What's going on with EPFC and the alignment - have they agreed to it being extended?

They cant beat an egg at the moment.

I'm afraid that when VFL purchased Etihad for it's new age hipster-poofter entertainment precinct project & totally funding West Sydney in some futile attempt to take over Sydney from Rugby League - the money that should have been re-invested in the code itself (ground up) and the once in a lifetime (heard this before?) opportunity to ensure the future vapourised.

Now what we will have is 1 almighty self administered organisation that only eats , and the layer that feeds it is shrinking alarmingly
