You say antagonistic, I say my views are unpopular on a 99% wafl audience.- I Know this and have tried to be sutle.

You have some serious credentials to discuss the topic. Like I have said before, take your wafl hat off and give an honest assessment.

How can it be and I quote "one of the biggest changes in wa (sic) football history" when you have said that anywhere and anytime there is a football kicked in WA the WAFC is involved (and yes I was paraphrasing but I can give a direct quote if you like)?

42...why do you need to know tugboats WAFL club allegiance mate?...does it matter....he has already said where his views are coming from in terms of his involvement with footy...good to read another side of the debate...one which is more objective than subjective...Think a lot of your guys views have a strong emotive attachments to them...

Don't forget WAFL footy ain't the be all of community footy, as the AFL ain't the be all to Aussie rules in this country...something you boys continually tell all n sundry here on these forums...tugboat is coming from another perspective which is healthy for this discussion..Don't you agree?

Thank you freezin for your contribution vis a vis your above post.

My problem with uhtb's comments is that they contradict other uhtb's comments. For example, the WAFC is involved in all sections of footy in WA compare and contrast with this is one of the biggest changes in WA footy. Another problem with uhtb's comments is a singular lack of concern with the complete trashing of over 120 years of WAFL footy because rest assured the WAFL will not exist in anything other than name within the next 5 years if the recommendations are adopted.

But perhaps we should advise the ozfooty admin to close this topic as nothing more needs to be added after your, usual erudite and concise, comments.

I think TB"s vision for football in WA is straight out of the text book of the WAFC. If he has his way with the talent development pathways in WA he would have them aligned in a partnership arrangement with the lead agency being the WAAFL, Education Department and the WAFC... Fairytale stuff...

No, the Peak body for football in the state would be in charge of Talent development instead of a stakeholder with other interests..... its fairly straight forward best practice across all sports, in every country.

Mate you are deluded, How can you say that your beloved WAFC is the best equipped body to run talent development? Stake holders with other interests?? FMD they are the champs at it?
What is wrong with the structure of the South Australian Talent Development Program??

How many of the WAFL clubs will support the proposed changes? My guess will be that one WAFL club will come out in support of the proposed changes. That club will be Peel.

The most outspoken critics of the proposed changes will be Swans, Souths, Claremont. I would have added West Perth and Perth but I think the attitude of the boards of those clubs will be interesting.

Will be or have been 42?...Think every WAFL club will have strong views on these proposals...

42...I ask again why did you ask tugboat what WAFL club he supported...still scratching my head at the significance of it?...isn't being a fan of footy and obviously involved in it in some capacity good enough to have an opinion? Just reckon you guys are addressing this topic with way too much subjectivity...

I didn't realise that you were uhtb's advocate. To sate your curiosity freezin it speaks to his perspective with respect to his views on the reviews.
