Very appropriate announcing this on 1st April. Should be a wake up call for WAFL administrators.. Had it too easy too long & did nothing.

Have a look at www.wafootball.com.au for a write up on the topic which also has a feedback section. Don't know how long the feedback section will available for!!

No no grassy , the two alignment hosts were given this information about the colts (which by the way , is their only way of making up numbers) and promptly shut up

There must be some bad stuff in that thing if some things have already been rejected before release , so is there 2 reports or a watered sugary version

130 years of each club in towns & suburbs , family generations of contacts & networks - oh we'll have a man in an office south of the river now think Boston!

Women's league to be the saviour it seems....Christ if the "elite" level was a shocker and free...God knows what the next level will be like...be very interesting to see how many players jump ship to the country footy next year...the WAFL clubs are gonna be decimated depth wise...also which clubs are gonna want to develop their zones if they aren't going to get rewarded for it...

Congratulations to the WAFC. You've just handed over 350K for the longest suicide note in history.

The WAFC's ineptitude knows no limits it seems.

Freeze from what I can gather the belief is the WAFL clubs aren't developing their zones....if this goes ahead bye bye WAFL and hello AFLWA...they are kidding themselves if they think any of these changes are gonna get more people to attend WAFL footy...the intent is to destroy and disarm...always has been...effen arseholes who ain't gonna give a shit about the kids the moment they realise a kid ain't up to AFL level ..."player first" my arse....very sad day for WA footy...any west Australian individuals involved in this hostile takeover should hang their head in shame, the word traitors is the only one I find appropriate...and yes big Ron you are at the top of that pile you disgusting piece of AFL stooge poop

DW: there have been a lot of pretend Western Australlans running football in this state since the mid 1980s.

I have just looked at the summary of the report in the West. The WAFC spent $350,000 for that? It is plain that an organisation like the WAFC that is hell bent on the AFL being in total control of football in WA could have easily implemented these recommendations and just saved themselves the consultants money. Another step along the path of WAFL clubs being rendered totally irrelevant unfortunately.

Like a lot of these type of "consultant" contracts this smells of a snow job. "These are the outcomes we want, now justify them in your report".

Dont kmow how much they spent, but what ever it was they got piss poor value for it, recommendations all pretty restrained compared to what some suggested would be coming for some major change.

Much ado about nothing.

Sadly, there are not very many Western Australians in Western Australia.
