If the colts comp and development pathways are taken from WAFL clubs then we are f##ked and will be just a matter of time before we are reminising about what we once had as the WAFL will essentially become like Ammos and Country footy

Why not? Those C**ts who seem to despise us,do it to us!

Keep an ear out for Uncle Kim tomorrow morning about 7.50AM.It's gunna break his heart to deliver us the Nasty Medicine he probably already knows about the Competition.

Its disgusting, our comp had a real resurgence in growth off the back of the 2010 GF, peaking in 2012 with interest levels growing towards pre Docker formation levels with clubs like Swans, WP and even Perth getting crowds of 3500 - 5k in some games (something we won't see again I fear) 4 radio stations covering games, TV, Print (did anyone see todays Game liftout and its meagre WAFL coverage? ) And they manage to fuck it up with alignments and a couple of clubs selling their souls for good. Also where are these so called extra fans coming from that they said would happen once Ch7 were getting paid to televise it?? The horse has bolted.
I forgot to mention the wall to wall AFL coverage which doesn't help as we don't get any standalone time.
We are pissing into a gale now I'm afraid, but I'll keep fighting with the rest of us dinosaurs

I'm wondering if Woman's AFL is being built here to keep the WAFL alive and relevant to state??

Given prick Pavelich and his destruction to the WAFL direction being given greater weight by his heading the Players Association I see my own WP ramping up its marketing of our woman's side
1. A better advertised and bigger event of the clubs jumper presentation to its woman's team than the male league team
2. Using woman's day to introduce woman's footy as a precursor to the main game this week and the reserves after the game
3. Are we falling into the AFL greater picture trap?
4 considering the knutered WAFC has the horse bolted and we are now just waiting to see the gate slam behind us???

I fear we are no longer in the room as decisions are being made and HAVE BEEN MADE

We are falling into the womens game BS trap I think, BUT don't forget it attracts a huge amount of FREE marketing cash hand outs from all the left wing pro women, pro gay rights govt departments ( most players are lesbian just look at the publicity the best player got for having a kiss with her missus ) that thrive on crap like this because that is just the way it is now - look at Coopers beer with the SSM debate et al, it easy to get a cheque from a womens Rights Org than it is from a genuine commercial sponsor, and in WA those commercial sponsors are shrinking fast just like our state economy, lets hope that MACCAS stick with WAFL after this year , because if they piss off who will take it up???

Yep,

The whole thing has a lot more to do with the "lets get women involved" line the AFL et al are selling, its got a huge amount to do with politics and hidden and not so hidden agendas all over the place, the AFL/WAFL should not be in the business of pushing certain things in peoples faces for what they see as their version of political correctness, they should have nothing to do with promotion of socio/political agendas.

Its interesting, My sister was touring a few prominent private girls schools with a view of selecting one for her daughters high school education, one mentioned they were introducing womens AFL, my sister being very switched on to the culture surrounding it, ruled a black line through that school.
