Lets just try and get things right.

I'd swap Subi's success for a great WAFL comp.

Then i reliased, SD people here dont give a crap about the WAFL....its all about swans

Yeah mate...swapping North Beach from Claremont to Subiaco will have a dramatic effect on the comp. No wonder Swans people are up in arms.

Might even consider giving Kelmscott back to Perth and Rockingham back to Souths but somehow that might also upset Swans people, so not sure.....

prefer that we send Subi to be based at Kingsway, that way they can actually be a central point for kids in their zone instead of making them travel into leederville.
make it happen please WAFC.

Warwick would be ideal. Just next to the train station...perfect and I think its going to happen by all accounts

Dont be silly MO this is a club that have a financial cash flow not afforded to any other WAFL club from a ground set up paid for by the Tax payers of WA & Australia (federal funds were involved) and in their great wisdom decided to move 2 minutes up the road to a ground left vacant by WP a decade previously due to a dying breeding ground instead of actually moving their club into its zone heartland and now that the massive funding windfall they have had that no other club has had is about to dry up (that they in their wisdom decided to spend on recruiting rather than junior development) in 2 years they now want a change to zoning (where was the concern 5 years ago) much like the character Oliver they still want more  talk about having your cake and eating it too ...give me a spell!

Between 1995-2004 SD did not have any grade play finals football in fact we were last or near last in all 3 grades for those years. Where was the concern then about zoning changes to help SD? In fact we even lost more of our zone quite incredibly. I am sure the Perth boys would have been around the same mark.

Instead of looking at the figures of those actually playing footy per zone it might be more relevant to see the numbers of eligible boys aged 9-17 in each zone and the percentages that have been successful in getting those kids to play our game rather than other sports or the x-box! Then we can also see which clubs have been actually working hard in their district rather than just sitting on their hands!

I recall Toddy saying something funny back in that era - "if pine trees could play we'd be doing alright"
