Look Hinch - ultimately us common OzFooty mugs aren't going to have much influence , go back to 1986 when that lying scumbag Walker and his cohorts uttered the biggest single lie & orchestrated the biggest heist in WA footy history by conceiving the first interstate VFL side under the bullshit premise that he could stop the exodus of players from this state
Nowadays it is an annual slaughterhouse & butchers shop routine and somehow grassroots footy has been totally ignored to the extent where eventually there'll be not enough to go around given the outside influences to kids these days

I understand that mate.
I'm trying to do the Sd people a favour.

But they dont listen and I've had a gutfull.

I'm not following the western Wanderers.

If you want to follow the Southern Sharks at colts level then good luck.

I expected a bit more from Beasley. I expected nothing from Mark Olsen.

Good luck to you all

The other paragraph that somehow didn't make it was:

And with the biggest ever TV rights deal in Aussie history nothing comes back to us where it's required at Grassroots level - a level that is plundered then discarded broken Hinch
Soon it won't just be zones because no-one will be able to service them

Everyone would love equity in life La Hincha and your intentions are great for colts level, however it's tinged with irony when there is no discussion of equity at league level and the thought of good intentions does not exist there to all clubs.
If one is to be looking for something in life then you need to be prepared to give something up in return.

I have given ideas for equality at league level. Did you not read them?

I'm not joking I'm fucken in tears reading this thread and the bias. I know whats coming if this isn't sorted.

Seriously, you guys would cut off your nose to spite your face

you are talking to supporters who are following a team that is a wooden spoon outfit and another is in line to win its 3rd league flag ?
Perspective please.
Changes to the colts system will have nothing to do with giving subi more numbers.
No body want d to give swans more numbers in 2013 when we ran last and Subi finished 3rd in the colts so we went and got a top colts coach and refocused our development.
Subi have the money to have the best coach in colts footy yet turnover their coaches more than anyone

As usual, Swan people have missed the point I'm trying to make. How obvious do I have to make it.

Never mind.

The people that are pushing for the TAC Cup WA approve of everything Swans fans have said here no doubt.

As I said, good luck with the Eastern Eagles. I guess thats what you must want

Surely the club didn't think they'd get to keep everything and get extra zones at the general expense of everyone else on top?
This is where the general distrust is generated from mate & surely a compromise could have been amicably reached that benefited all clubs in that process not just one

I guess its a bit like being a board member at a big company.

If you're seen to do anything but to give the biggest dividend to the stakeholder, you'll be considered incompetent.

Subi people, me included, have a "lets make up for those awful years" where we were poor, unsuccessful and considered a basket case. We've nearly made up for it I reckon? God knows they were some awful years when I was a kid.

Apparently it was just as bad in years before. Imagine Bernie Naylor kicking 23 goals against Subi on his own in one game.

That aside, I'm over all that. I just want to see an even colts comp that will satisfy all parties - including the academy people and the AFL scouts.

There are calls for massive colts changes but we can nip that in the bud with an even comp

As it stands, the stadium deal ends. Will Subi, with over 100 years of history and participation, even survive from this year on?

Worrying times. But I wish people would support me on this if they have the colts comp at heart

Well if it keeps going you'll be the only one playing in this comp - don't worry about colts then mate
Honestly the time has long passed for exclusive deals especially in this current climate & especially when it's generated from taxpayers of all denominations
Understand the Zone concerns entirely all clubs have concerns about it

Well, the deal now ends

And at 800,000 operating costs per year, so will the recruiting

The new stadium is not due to open until 2018 LH!

Yep but the money saving starts now or its bye bye one of the traditional clubs. The maroons

Surely your clubs financial future is secure for a long, long time into the future, you have made gigantic profits over the last twenty years?

True, but with 2 mil in the bank and 800 grand operating costs per year, I reckon they better start saving now.

In my opinion, I reckon Subi might be the first club to fold. Others might follow but Subi might be the first.

I'm not sure they have an idea how to survive without the stadium deal?

In that case it would be prudent of subi people to be asking their board and share your concerns that you will soon fold.

And I'd be asking your board why you want to sacrfifice your colts team for a TAC cup
