WAG the problem is that the WAFC although it is alleged that they are an independent body and make decisions that are best for WA footy, it is patently obvious from the many decisions that have been made with respect to the host club alignment etc that it would apprar that what is best for the WAFL is barely given lip service and mostly certianly not a major consideration when it comes to decisions made by the WAFC. As for the comments attributed to Cooper with respect to West Perth and Ch 9 sponsorship, it is obvious that he couldn't give a stuff about the finances of West Perth.

Yes. He's obviously handballed that into the too hard basket!
Whereas what should have happened is he could have left his 'I don't give a toss' attitude about West Perth's sponsorship and left it at home that day. Should be supportive of West Perth and the remaining Wafl clubs! Or is that asking too much.
Sounds like the broadcasting tail is wagging the dog. One has to ask why that is happening? The season hasn't even started and it's in a bloody mess already!

Hopefully that will be released asap but I see the AFL Channel 7 AHG Harlots get the first one

You would think that the fixtures would be closer to being finalised than not. The clubs and the commission had a fair idea that it would be on channel seven I think so you would presume that they would have got the ball rolling a little earlier to make the announcement asap and get some good publicity for the competition.

If we don't get the final fixtures until the end of February or early March than this will be pretty poor in my opinion.

I agree they should be ready to go now and out by 1 March , early publicity is critical , people are hanging out for the footy once Feb ends,

Think it might be coming out today, some early starts for TV games and maybe Subi oval being used.
Weat perth might get hit with limited coverage

As long as we get plenty of South games I will be happy.

Yes exactly. One would have thought the fixtures would have all been finalised and completed by now. But when the broadcaster is telling the so called commission what to do, nothing would surprise me.
