I like listening to Lachy on the rare occasion he commentates WAFL on the radio.

Rest assured though Southerner I don't think Lachy will be coming back to channel 7 anytime soon. He seems very happy at 10.

Fair enough fellas I respect those opinions - the other one I wouldn't mind making a comeback , if he was well enough because he has had some personal demons at times , is Glenn Mitchell (formerly of the ABC)

Had nothing against Phil Lamb and Rod Willet.. both did a good job.
Call wasnt bad.. lets be honest the coverage was good and the camera work excellant.

A flash back in time,, and a tribute to these guys

Lets not forget the ABC OB teams and the guys who did all the hard work

Going to miss you guys but thanks for the trip..

Mark Readings will be one caller for certain!

Whoever does the commentating will need to be an experienced Wafl call team.

As the broadcaster has simply ignored the Wafl for far too many years, one has to be fearful of the coming 2015 telecasts.

If I walked into the office and asked to join a commentary team, I'd get canned & booted out the door quick smart! If the correct staff are not televising the Wafl, just raises too many more questions!!

mate trained sports callers can turn to any sport pretty quickly, these guys especially trained race horse callers, can memorise an entire race field in a matter of minutes and call races just on numbers..

They will have plenty of time to prep up, you will find it will be a lot better than ABC, which although they tried, I reckon was amatuer hour.
