Perhaps a new media advertisement for the Wafl should be shown? One that accurately better describes.
Perhaps we could have 2 people chatting over the neighbourly fence and one says to the other, "Have heard the Wafl is being televised on commercial tv"? The other person remarks, "Well most of it is, but one of the teams is being totally ignored"
The ad could then end as the two people give each other a blank, confused stare at each other.

I reckon if channel 9 was the broadcaster they wouldn't show any team that had channel 7 on their jumper. I'm surprised everyone is so upset by this situation.

Probably because we'd like to see every club equally telecast including one that was formed in the late 1800's

I'd like to see that too but its not going to happen. I hate joondy more than the neighbours incessantly barking dog but I still want them broadcast

Well maybe - but one thing that cannot be , is the major telecaster (and it's subsidiary company who happens to be the only major rag in the state) also sponsoring one club
It doesn't look good & doesn't lend itself to even playing fields

So are you saying that both East Perth and West Perth should be forced to give up their sponsorships from television companies or just East Perth ?

I stated that the major telecaster cannot just sponsor one club when all clubs are paying for the coverage - that's basically taking from all clubs then giving it back to one
Do you actually understand that conflict of obvious interest or are you just ignoring the obvious

Agree Southerner.. Conflict of interest obviously. As I Stated on WP site.. as far as I am concerned 7 got the telecast even though 9 tried because 7 are sponsors of EPFC..
The club who are the bitch of the AFL along with the WAFC. Simple as that and I hope Channel 9 and the Sunday Times who have come out of the AFL mold to actually sponser a WAFL club in WP.. Something is in the wind and it could be a lovely war as it will give people an idea of what is actually happening to the the DEMISE of the WAFL if it hasnt already happened with the Alignment bullsit... Shit EP from running at a loss for years to a $380,000 profit last year when they dont seem to have many fund raising events like the other Battlers do in the WAFL.... IT FARKING STINKS
This message represents the official view of the voices in my head

some bloke rang up maumill on a sunday and gave WAFL a plug. no end of people were ringing up complaining aboiyt the cost of food, beer, long ques etc at AFL.

A bloke rang in and said you can avoid all that by going to the WAFL, have a great family day.

Maumill basically poo poo ed the idea, Oh yeah thats easy when nobody goes.
