I didn't go as a silent personal protest towards the alignment fiasco we have been forced to endure. Anyone else?

In fact it cost us the flag.

Anyway it was our last GF and i still have nightmares about that loss!

Have a look at this not only the weather but watch it through to the "the Buz" and his goal,he almost won the game off his own boot that day.

Gee 30+ if not for that bloody downpour plus Couper & Quartermaine unfortunately not playing in that game for P then EP's Premiership drought would stretch way back to 1972!

Did I hear right the official preliminary final crowd was 2549. What is the lowest preliminary final crowd on record this information is hard to come buy.

not surprising when they charged so much to get in..wasnt it $25 or $30 ?

great way to get the people to the game, WAFL is supposed to be a community sport - bunch of clowns at the WAFC.

I reckon the WAFC would be absolutely rapt with the GF result on Sunday. EP didn't win so they don't have to stave off any criticism that they've created an alignment monster and they couldn't give a flying fk about the crowd numbers.

This plays right into their hands as justification for their next agenda item - reducing the comp to 8 teams. They'll point to the low attendance as justification to reform (read: fk up) the comp further. Expect the Blue Wiggle "Wake Up" Frank Cooper and his peons Walton and Saunter to start the slow drip campaign over summer for an 8 team comp.

$35 non members. This is utterly ridiculous pricing, but $15 for a normal game is crazy too.

Don't forget that the budget was not included in the $35 entry fee. So add on another $7.

$42 all up

Yes true a good budget it is but $7 really. I think twenty is the price point including budget that people start to think twice about staying away, particularly if its raining and live telecast to the metro area.
