That's not good. I like Ames as a player so I hope he is only out for the one game. Hopefully Perth can take advantage of his absence and record a much needed win.

Her is an interview with Bill Monaghan after State win. Goes into selection in depth and why some missed out.. Looking at the scoreline we could of sent any team over there to beat them. But saying that in hindsight.

Queanbeyan Tigers player Kade Klemke collected a best on ground award for the NEAFL team against the WAFL side at Blacktown last Saturday.

The sole Queanbeyan representative kicked a goal in the effort and had a strong defensive performance that saw him up against Perth player Paul Bevan in the back line.
Klemke was honest and acknowledged the team's lack of preparation."It was always going to be hard. We never got to train together," Klemke said.

"It would have been nice to have more time but I enjoyed it."
