Hey BH ,nice of you to join the conversation,But yet again the vitriol towards The Mighty Docker is still there. You really are a sour person. Why not get your head out of the sand ,read the heading for the conversation and have some REAL input.you and your mob want the WAFL to survive, come up with some ideas.
Now one snakes head has reared let see a couple more appear.I knew it they couldn't stay out with there attacks.

So Freo will split their squad and have some players training at Freo and some at Cockburn?

A/man I have read all the postings on this topic. I may have missed a point or two as I read the postings fairly quickly. For my benefit, and presumably others as well, could you please list your suggestion(s) about what the WAFL clubs could do to improve their supporter base, craowds and financial position? If it is not too much of an imposition could you please include how they will improve the above.

Thank you very much, in anticipation, for your time and effort.

Michael Walters that would attract about five more through the gates. Having the Ovals in working class areas like Bassendean is about the best way of engaging the community and perhaps creating the odd new fan.

LOL as if! Whole point of them building a new place in cockburn is to leave freo.

the current place has been used and they are moving on, they will just move out simple as that. no big deal, just lease it out or flog it.

we could advertise the fact that say Michael Walters is coming back from injury and will be playing for Swans in their game against Peel at Basso this Saturday.

Now where did I go wrong? Oh that's right we have to ADVERTISE that Michael Walters would be PLAYING FOR PEEL against Swans at Basso.

Also, without being too sarcastic how can a WAFL game as a pre-cursor to an AFL game be a way of attracting supporters to WAFL games. Supporters of the clubs playing would not be able to attend the match. How do I know: I had borrowed an Eagles' members membership pass to watch the Foxtel game prior to an Eagles' game. I couldn't watch it because it would have meant that the Eagles' member would not have been able to watch his match because there was no way of electronicall y 'passing out' of the ground.

Good Irony Swan.

Yep we are up against it...

We need some big changes...

Although I was heatened to see quite a few clubs made money this year.

This is it in a nutshell .... I was absolutely spoiled rotten being able to watch some of the greatest ever players ( from all 8 teams ) before the VFL bubonic plague snivelled in .... it is only right that I contribute what I can in return for that magnificent time of life

Geez you know , I remember big Johnny Duckworth running through the centre of Leederville one day and dropping a big bastard of a torp (yes , on the run !) and banging it through the big sticks for a full pointer against Old Easts (I was playing little league and was residing in one of the Old Easts zones at that time)
I remember the Wizard Maurie Rioli dancing & weaving while bouncing the ball at Freo Oval to kick a goal on the run against WP in 1981 , we kicked 40.18 that day , noel Carter got 11 I think ... and the forefather of the running half-back flanker Benny the magic Jet Vigona got 3 if my memory serves me right
Yeah I'm in brother

I have asked a question and all every one does is go back to whinging whining and moaning about how bad the alignment is going to be.You sound like a bunch of moaning old women.forgive me if there are any ladies here.
Al least I can say I live in the present and not way back in the 60s or the 80s.
Fair dinkum you blokes never cease to amaze me.S&S I read the Fremantle club year book and the report.Do your self a favour and find one and read it before you come up with your B/S.
Once again another topic hijacked by the wannbebebackinthe60s.
I knew it was only a matter of time before the Swans barrage began.

Anchorman you did ask a question and many of us have put something forward, someone has now asked you a few posts back for you to put your idea's forward and you have gotten angry? Like you I have adjusted to the modern world, doesn't mean i like it but footy is what it is now. Not everyone has to agree mate.
