More than likely back at the Port .... talks have been held in recent years , no official anything however

Issues will be where the EFFC camps .... the base of the Victoria Stand or whether it will take a new building to be constructed

Also Training share times ... although either club could utilise CBC Oval or the old Henry Jeffery Oval (Wauhop Park) in EF land

Otherwise game on and it shares expenses of upkeep ... hard to see any other real viable option around Freo or East Freo

The only thing Fremantle about the Fremantle FC is the name!
EF should just move straight into that Cockburn bound mobs old premises as they wont be using it.

Anchordude mate .... that is a crock of shit ,,, Peel oh sorry the AFL mob will move entirely to Cockburn that is why there is Federal funding applied for their own state of the art facilities

those premises at Fremantle Oval will be available in 2016 or whenever Cockburn is completed

If Fremantle is the home of footy .... when are you shelling out for your bloodline Centurion members card ???? ;)

The Fed grant is for them to establish in Cockburn , does this yearbook state in writing that a duplicate base will be at Fremantle Oval once Cockburn is commissioned ?????

That new EF jumper (1970's style) is the best looking strip in the WAFL. That is a great move by the sharks (Old Easts!)
Claremonts recent change has also been a real winner.

Agree 100% - this is a chance for another real and benficial change at WAFL level..

SF and EF must put their heads togther and work something out, if they don't it will be an opportunity missed.

Hey BH ,nice of you to join the conversation,But yet again the vitriol towards The Mighty Docker is still there. You really are a sour person. Why not get your head out of the sand ,read the heading for the conversation and have some REAL input.you and your mob want the WAFL to survive, come up with some ideas.
Now one snakes head has reared let see a couple more appear.I knew it they couldn't stay out with there attacks.

Yep Exactly, A presence, that will consist of minimal space at the most, it will most likely be a shopfront flogging merchandise (which BTW they had before and closed due to lack of need), that will be about it, there is no way in th world they are going to mainatain two entire training facilties the whole point of moving to cockburn is to get out of freo - not hang around it wasting money.

The WAFC won't leave a mothballed facility sit they unused, pretty obvious a deal will be done for either shared WAFL or Notre Dame to move in, most likely shared, and recoup some income via a lease.

The Bar can either be shared with SF or another small one set up, just as Subi did at Leederville, there is actually room on the upper deck of the dockers building for a bar, this will obviously be a white elephant once freo depart, so why not use it.

Yep spot on, there is no way they will be hanging around there in a defunct facility paying for both, why the heck would any club do that? Collingwood left Victoria Park to a big new facility, do you reckon they call back there for a work out?

Yep good summary

South already use Dick Lawrence Oval in Hilton as a back up, as you say CBC Oval is there as well, plenty of options.

SF also already use underneath the Vic Stand, I would say once the dockers vacate , that facility will be used, with the addition of a discrete subi style members bar, that would more than suffice.

a game there every week of the season , Turnover for every game, combined derbies, perfect outcome. makes great financial sense.

Here's a hypothetical about attracting more crowds to WAFL games:

we could advertise the fact that say Michael Walters is coming back from injury and will be playing for Swans in their game against Peel at Basso this Saturday.

Now where did I go wrong? Oh that's right we have to ADVERTISE that Michael Walters would be PLAYING FOR PEEL against Swans at Basso.

Also, without being too sarcastic how can a WAFL game as a pre-cursor to an AFL game be a way of attracting supporters to WAFL games. Supporters of the clubs playing would not be able to attend the match. How do I know: I had borrowed an Eagles' members membership pass to watch the Foxtel game prior to an Eagles' game. I couldn't watch it because it would have meant that the Eagles' member would not have been able to watch his match because there was no way of electronicall y 'passing out' of the ground.
