Well leading into the final home and away fixtire next week.....4 of the 5 games will have some say into the final 5 make up....EF need a win or minor loss to secure the minor premiership, Subi need to win and win well to secure top spot....EP need Subi to win by a smidgen and beat WP themselves by a big margin to secure top spot.

WP need to win and have SD win v Peel or Perth to beat CL....big ask for WP, SD and Perth....but definitely going to be an interesting last round of fixtures. No one wants to play Peel in the first week of the finals....and everyone will be wanting thst 2nd chance....

Don't think Swans v Peel is relevant to West Perth Freezin, as there is an 11% difference in percentage between them. West Perth are relying totally on a Perth victory. A Swans victory over Peel would make a big difference to the placings in the top 5 though and could relegate the Thunder to 4th.

Good summation Freeze, its all tall order stuff regarding WP slipping in but another avenue has opened up with Peel a tad vulnerable and Claremont unlikely to lose to Perth. With Sinclair retiring and Perth's decent upset record @ CL Oval, who knows. As far as the 10% advantage Peel have over WP (I haven't done calculations) but Im sure a 10-12 goal swing may be enough for WP if results go our way. We are playing as good footy as we did last year atm and we will be back next year for certain.

I can't see too much changing after next weekend with Subi and the ferals playing in the QF and FART and the petticoats in the elimination final.

Just done some rough calculations and Subiaco would need to beat the Sharks by around 6 - 7 goals to pinch the top spot from them. In order to displace Peel, West Perth would need to beat East Perth by around 10 goals and hope that Swans beat Peel by around the same margin in order to bring the percentages close. Sorry guys that just aint going to happen. The best hope is if Perth can pull off the upset of the season at Claremont and even then West Perth still have to beat the Royals to qualify. Long shot I would think but where theres life theres hope.

East Perth have a massive incentive to win at Joondalup because Peel will be snapping at their heels and may well snatch the double chance from them if they falter.

Stranger things have happened before BC and Mikeh so I think all WP followers are crossing everything they’ve got.Anyone got that Hot Chocolate song “I believe in miracles” playing?

Yes anything is possible. I just remember a certain Perth derby a fair while back now (1978) where 22000 crammed into Leederville and East Perth snuck into the finals at the last minute but had to depend on Perth beating Claremont which they did  so there could be some twists and turns next week. As you said if West Perth happened to sneak into finals noone would want to play them.

Actually 1978  was better then that.A few other upsets happened in that round so we went from fifth to second.
We had won seven in a row and by coming second we could afford to lose the second semi and then win the prelim and grand final.Even now it is sometimes hard to believe a team could come from so far back and win a premiership.

Who knows what will happen in the last round.
Perth have been extremely disappointing.
Under the new high profile coach.Got the feeling they want to finish this season on a high.We will see.
Swans could beat Peel at Basso. But by not enough for WP to make up 13% on the table.

You are correct about the SD v Peel game GTRX in that the %tge gap is too big even if SD win.Our best chance to sneak into the 5 is if P win(and we beat EP of course). And honestly P could do it.I think they have improved this season and if that improvement is only slight so be it - it's still an improvement.I know the P boys see their team every week and I am just an outsider who sees them play occasionally but there seems to be a fair bit of promise there.A long way to go but there is something to work with.Next year will they be premiership contenders? No way. Will they challenge for the 5? Maybe but probably too early.will they improve from this year?Absolutely.I'll let the P boys determine what that "improvement"should be but even if that doesn't eventuate into extra games one it will at least be another year of understanding the PG way of playing footy - which will eventually become second nature.Yes recruiting in problem areas will be important but chuck in some depth and excitement from a strong colts year and it's a start. The competition needs P improving and starting to be competitive on a consistent basis.I for one think they can do it and sooner rather than later. The P stalwarts need something to crow about.
