I like the fixturing is predominantly Saturday apart from the long weekends of Easter, Anzac Day and the Foundation Day long weekend. No doubt start times will vary.

Ok over to you WAFC. Have you drawn up another set of fixtures in the now very real possibility the AFL listed players will not be allowed to play in the WAFL? You better have a contingency plan in place and assume there will be no WCE reserves and no Dockers players representing Peel. Or, what happens if we start the season with no COVID-19 in the community but at some stage through the season WC and Fremantle have to pull out? Some will have played the Eagles reserves some will have not and Peel suddenly have to find 12 players.

And there is not going to be any Jobkeeper to bail clubs out this time.

Noticed no match start times mentioned for the 2021 fixtures.

Good point DD. This COVID situation could change anytime as we have found out. If WCE and Fremantle pull their players out again we need to have an alternative season planned. Back to 9 teams or maybe even 8 because it would be unrealistic to expect Peel to form a competitive side at such short notice. The WAFC needs to show some initiative and have this up their sleeve as an another option for the season. We don’t want the whole season derailed because of the AFL clubs.

noticed in last fridays west aust. that the good friday games will be twilight games but no mention of exact times
