yep, it certainly was cess: I think DM wanted to make it 75 per cent, but he was unable to get the full support of the club. 65 per cent will do.

Yes Damien may have had some input.
Richard basically drafted the Constitution when it was redone.
I can't recall exactly when, but if memory serves me it was somewhere around the turn of the century.

There have been a number of changes to it since I think.
Both Richard and Damien are ardent supporters of protecting the Club from outside intruders.
As are the "Captains Club".
Richard has been close to the current drivers of the Club since the 70s.

DF -- thanks-- they are/were both absolutely right. Can you believe they tried to merge with Subi all those years ago? For a powerful club, such as the Eagles, they have grovelled a lot.

Thanks for that Factor. That is laughable. So ferals stay on 125 pts and old easts get reduced from 120 to 115. Htf does that work?? I had the feeling the ferals would have been premiership contenders if this season was normal in length

remember it had a lot to do when Dorro tried to push perth out to kelmscott about 20 years ago.
the barflies might have been huffing and puffing but it was the back room boys who tweaked the constitution to pull the rug out from poor old Grant and ensure they stayed at lathlain.
the legal point was the wafl cannot over-ride a clubs constitution. very clever.
