Yeh I know, the 8 traditional clubs are that old and full of history they should be heritage listed and looked after forever by the government.

Freezin, your EP post is the first time I've agreed with you in over 7000 posts. But you won't get anywhere. You need to understand the EP mindset. Basically, an alignment is fine provided EP are successful, but you have to pretend the success is solely due to the home grown players elevating their game and inspiring the soulless interlopers in the process. If on field success is not forthcoming, EP turn against the alignment, but this time it's all the fault of the AFL players who simply don't buy into the noble EP tradition. Those mental gymnastics allow EP fans to be perfectly at peace with their two host club eras.

No one wants to see a WAFL club die. However, if it's for the benefit of the competition as a whole then so be it. You can't have a club like West Perth that just sucks the blood from the wafl.

You think I don't care? It is irrelevant if I'm a Falcons supporter or not. What is terrible is that West Perth own supporters don't even come out to watch the games at Joondalup, West Perth supporters just don't care. West Perth by pure luck has the best zone in wafl history but none of them living in the zones ever come out to watch.

Getting less than 1000 people to a high quality game is shocking.

They suck the blood of the WAFL finances, VenuesWest finances and don't even pay tax to the ATO.

They might be the oldest club but that means bugger all if they keep bleeding the WAFL to a slow death which they have been doing.

West Perth to return to Leederville. Share ground with East Perth.

Subi to share with Claremont. 5 million on new turf.

SF to share with EF @ Fremantle oval. 15 million to realign the oval to the Heritage stand and new clubrooms

Perth to the WACA. 200 million to realign the oval and stands to AFL standard. 20K capacity. All major Cricket played there. No Cricket at Optus. Cricket belongs at the WACA. Sort out road work into and out. Not too short like the SCG. To be home of WA Footy (The GF etc) along with obvious home of WA cricket. Massive and quality museum for both. Cable stand. Get that pool in there as well. Parking, Bars. East Perth can come over if that helps. That way I guess Subi could stay at Leederville.

Each club aiming to have a veterans team 50 and over to play on Sunday @ 12, followed by a their womens team @ 2PM. All the 50 plus would spend plenty at the bar after to make it profitable. These matches count towards the Rodreigus Shield.

AFL teams caped at 38. Can't play AFL unless you are 19. Cant be drafted interstate unless 19 at the start of that year.
