Why even mention the sanctions the ladies got without knowing the full story? Knowabit kind of gave away who he is because I know who the girls went to for some early legal advice.

Wouldn't you guys do better to get two such popular hardworking local birds on side (along with the more than 300 kids in the junior club and us parents ) instead of slagging them off saying they aren't suitable people to run a junior club ? God knows what would happen if they got wind of your "unsuitable" comment .

If it was your 4ft nothing 12 yr old they grabbed out of harms way at risk to their own safety you lot might think again before making comments like that. My old man was there and even he wouldn't go on and get my son off that field and away from the big blokes throwing punches and running amok.

Never heard them knocking you guys at rhe seniors off even though they both cop constant complaints and even get reporters wanting dirt on the senior club. Far out, the president even tried to convince a group of older juniors to think about going to the seniors when they finish just to help the senior club out instead of local talent going elsewhere Problem is most parents won't have their kids go to the seniors as long as the boss there is the big man with the money. My son received a couple of fairly sleazy texts from the lady who managed the colts team that folded. I just told him to ignore it cos she's basically a hanger on back from when my older brother played there. My son iwent elsewhere with mates anyway. Some parents got angry about it and wanted blood The current lady president at the juniors had to more or less warn the Colts woman to stay away because a few mums were ready to belt her or call the cops about how she was coming on to minors. Had to laugh myself last year when the Colts lady spotted one of the junior presidents kids having a kick around while waiting for his mum. Really tall kid. Already picked up for development when he was still 12. "How old are you mate ? Nice big kick ? Thought about Colts cos I can help you out ?" The president overheard and called out "F**k off he's 13!" The Colts woman practically ran in fear. She's no doubt heard about the ladies grabbing kids away from thugs and knew the Pres meant business.

Jealousy is a curse Knowabit, Chooka and Co. Your club needs girls running it like my lady friends who donit all for free.

FootyDad where exactly did i mention the junior ladies? I think you should read things correctly before typing away champ. I do believe i wrote and I quote (This rubbish going on bagging clubs whether it be senior or junior is childhood school yard bullshit which needs to stop!) You may want to go have a read again or are you too busy trying to force your way into the rooms at half time like a right fool?
I have none nor will i ever have an issue with the junior ladies as I personally find them quite pleasant to speak to and very helpful.
For someone else's info of the 3 players told to leave 2 have been de-registered and 1 has been told not to return until they come and see me about their behavior. FootyDad I am here 5 days a week so feel free to pop your nose into my office anytime. As for you TheGreatOne you can just stick to Kingsway and it seems funny your comments when your own League Coach Kingsley Hunter stayed back until stumps with us having a laugh and a few beers and said that alot of the comments thrown at us aren't warranted.

Jealousy ?? Not sure what you are referring to. Probably not worth replying to the long winded spiel I'm quite sure everyone is aware you don't get a year ban for nothing. It is concerning that a very talented junior player was deregistered by said females for playing a game for the senior club. Perhaps hypocritcal that they receive only a year for being involved in a brawl and he is deregistered for 1 game played prior to the junior season commencing. Maybe trying to throw their weight around and assert some authority the juniors and seniors should be working together, must be too many egos involved for that.

Is the average Joe around the traps not allowed to have an opinion? Sanctions or not us parents are grateful for what they did. Especially with them being women. Some other parents did also enter the ground but according the wife were headless chooks.

With the thing about the kid they deregistered you've got it wrong. I know because I've got a son in that junior team and all parents got told what was happening Bigwigs told them that the kid had played League and something about breaking permit rules. The girls were told to get the kid deregistered so the other kids in the team could keep their points and ladder position for the year. Maybe even stop then playing finals. The president asked how the kids could lose points they hadn't earned yet. Bigwigs reckoned they could and also do stuff to sanction all of their teams in the conference who play for points. President lady felt it was very harsh and didn't want to be unfair on a kid who probably thought he was helping the seniors out so had someone else ask for advice which came back the same. A proper vote was taken by the committee on it (the wife voted and reckons there was no pressure to vote either way). The vote was to deregister the kid. A couple of Committee blokes offered to do the deed and tell the coach who was fairly poopy The boys in the team all got to say what they thought and not one voted for the kid to stay. The other option was for them to pay for no points this year. They want their points and made that clear! . Coach had a huge hissy fit at both of the ladies front of the kids, Anyone from any team training that night heard him lose the plot. President was very upset about cutting the kid whos from a family with lots of local footy involvement and lots of talent. Coach apologised the next morning but the coaches wife then decided to rock up to the clubroom with a dog on a leash looking like a psycho and crack it over teenage crap on Facebook. Most of the club heardd the whole thing shrieked by the coaches wife and a couple of blokes had to go check that the coaches wife didn't get physical when she got wound up.

Don't think the girls showed ego over cutting the kid. They were upset about having to do it but how could they let one kid hurt nearly 30 others on the team. If you want to work with them bagging them on here isn't a great idea. Your comment before said they aren't suitable to run a junior club which is crap because you seem to have half the facts on just about everything to do with them. You are petty harsh on the girls which is sad when they are trotting around telling parents to start supporting the senior club (myself included) and to think about having kids stay local at John Dunn when they finish with juniors. A lot of parents don't want to send their kids through while the money man at the top is there.

The president is a very kind woman who does a lot of stuff for a lot of people that she never mentions (not too proud to admit shes helped us out in different ways when we've needed it ) and the Sec lady might be louder but has a heart of gold. They pull some massive hours around other stuff like work and families for no reward other than seeing the kids play footy. That's what I meant about jealousy because who wouldn't want volunteers like that ?

Wonder how weeks it'll be till they rack up 3 forfeits for the reserves and are relegated to a single team club in E1 for 2018.

To summarise this whole post, a very small group of Kelmscott people continue to dribble the same rhetoric for the last few years, that changes are being made to the player behaviour issues.

The rest of the footy world is calling bullshit to these comments!

FootyDad since your first post last week something didn’t quite add up as I was at the same game you say you were at last week and your summary did not match up with what I saw. So I thought I’d do a little bit of digging around this week about who you really were.

You have referred in recent posts to some mothers at the Junior club being banned and suspended by South Fremantle and the WAFC following a brawl on the oval involving parents and kids at a Kelmscott Junior club game 2 or 3 years ago. The conduct of those mothers is not my main issue as far as I can tell they have not come on this forum trying to attack the Kelmscott Senior club, although if what you say is right and those mothers hold important positions on the Junior committee such as President or Secretary one wonders how South Fremantle or the WAFC have allowed that to occur. As I said though I don’t know the ladies concerned and as far as I can tell no-one at the senior club has problems with anyone at the junior club.

It is the truth isn’t it that you were also banned from that brawl FootyDad, weren’t you? In fact, you received a life ban for your conduct. Isn’t that the truth?

If this is right, your ban probably stops you from attending community games, even Senior community games I would guess. So when you claim you went to the seniors’ game last week you would have been in breach of that ban wouldn’t you?

I have also been told that, despite you claiming to the opposite, it is true isn’t it that you’ve also had a son playing in the seniors last week and also that at half time of last week’s senior game that you tried to barge into the players change room to give the other players a serve for not, in your opinion, kicking it to your boy.

The word is that your boy is a delightful young man with enough talent to go further if he gets a few breaks and that the only concern the football people at the junior and senior club have is that because of who you really are you will be directly responsible for ruining that career. If all that is right as well, it won’t be long before the footy people at his WAFL club you said in your first post that he was permitted to will find out about you if they don’t know already.

This raises serious questions over everything you have said so far on this forum and also questions your motives doesn’t it?

Perhaps what you should do when you post in future (although I’m sure your boys would be begging you just to shut up and support them in their football endeavours rather than try and force the direction of their careers) would be to change your user-name to UglyFootyDad.

For the rest of you who may be interested having previously played at the club in the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s I know Kim Turner well and spoke to him this week. The true situation is that Kim along with a large group of other hard working life members at the time attended a meeting at the club at the end of 2006 and the resolution at that meeting was that the club be wound up. I am sure that’s something that broke Kim’s heart along with most of the others there that had been with the club since the 70’s. Despite losing all its staff, including bar staff, the Club Manager, coaching and support staff and almost all its players, and the lease to the social club at the end of 2006, a handful of players re-established the club in early 2007. Between the end of 2006 and the beginning of 2014 Kim had nothing to do with the club, taking a well-earned rest. He re-joined the committee for 2014 to 2016 and stepped down at last year’s AGM to allow a new group to take over. Kim does not consider himself to be “on the outer” as some on here with questionable motives have suggested and in fact when talking to Kim this week he was excited about working with the new GM on a sub- committee to bring up-to-date the clubs’ memorabilia and honour boards, and to help organise some life member days and player reunion days. Kim is one of the most genuine community football blokes I have ever known and I do not think on forums such as this meatheads should be allowed to drag his name (or to be honest, anyone else’s name) into this type of forum.

Rainmaker you are barking up the wrong tree. I think I know which bloke you're on about and yeah he does have good kids who show some talent and are never any trouble. The dad is a friendly enough bloke who often stands back away at juniors because he's banned and a smoker. Eldest boy plays League at Kelmscott

Also I don't ever even try to enter changerooms apart from with my youngest ankle biter who's coach calls the parents in unless I'm down for First Aid/Strapping or filling water bottles for the juniors. You may not agree with my view of things but I believe that parents should stand back and let the coaches do their job. Both the wife and I volunteer regularly for the juniors but the senior club our eldest plays for pays for match day jobs to be filled and the only time I've gone in was when the kid was doused in Powerade after bagging a few goals for the first time. Only then because I was asked to go in. My boy would die from bloody shame if I ever carried on like a pork chop about him not getting kicked to or any other whingey crap. Even his mum knows not to do that.

Talking about the “other Dad” as being not you is like Clarke Kent saying he is not Superman and Bruce Wayne saying he is not Batman.

Not trying to have a crack at anyone but think this forum should be more positive and honest and encourage more light hearted banter than aggression and nastiness.
