Pretty easy for someone who obviously hasn't been to a Kelmscott match recently to make these statements from the safety of the grandstand at Lathlain Oval.

It's clear that this has been an ongoing issue for Kelmscott for many years that hasn't seen any improvement despite Kelmscott continuing to say that they are apparently addressing the issue. This year they've apparently moved 3 players on. The same was stated last year that 3 other players had been told that they weren't required. Interesting that one stayed involved in a non-playing role.

You can understand why clubs from C1, B and A Grade have all made complaints over many years and continue to do so as nothing has actually changed despite all of Kelmscotts claims.

Clubs shouldn't be able to participate in A or B Grade if they can't field a colts side, and not fielding a Ressies side is just another poor reflection on the club. The only positive is that 22 players from Swan Athletic didn't have to be worried about being belted off the ball in the ressies on the weekend.

Clubs and players have every right to continue to take issue with this treatment from Kelmscott as long as it continues to persist.

I'm sure you'd have a very different opinion Grassy, if Claremont forfeited the Colts and Ressies against Perth on the weekend and your Seniors were getting sniped off the ball.

Hi first time user on here, I was just wondering if anyone knows what is going on down there at kelmy, A grade last year and now they can't field colts or reserves, how long till they close the doors or will they last the season, or are they 1 forfeit away from the waafl forcing there hand and closing down, cheers

Their league side will hang on till the end of the season then it is off to E grade to join the single team club comp.

Pretty big allegations there Phil but not the first time Kelmscott have played outside the rules.

Did the unregistered players play in the ressies or the league team or both? I note that the league side only listed 20 players and the ressies listed 23, with a number of them doubling up.

I'm sure he WAAFL would be very interested if you have proof that Kelmscott did play unregistered players and I'm sure Stirling would be happy with a 90-1 win in either or both grades.

Good see they got to wins but at what cost? Heard a few players from a certain club that is looking to merge with anther club, went over and played, unsure of how true it is though
