What proof do you have the game went 1.30 over? The central umpire made a call! It's d grade footy not AFL or WAFL! I watched a very high standend of footy. Well done to both teams for putting in such a great game of D GRADE footy!

footylad, thanks for your words. If you were any sort of footy lad you would see and understand the frustration of extra time played when it shouldn't have.You say you wacthed a very high standard of footy then put the game down saying its only D grade footy.Mossie players didnt cheat but maybe the time keeper should of been more honest.Proof, I spoke to the Basso bench inc coach and others and everyone stop watches were going off at 25min, except Mossie's whose went for another minute plus. Tell me that is fair!!!! You dont like me sticking up for the club I support, don't read everybodies posts then, simple!

Ill be quite happy to say I was wrong when I see proof! I know for a fact if this was the case the officials at Mosman Park will be very dirty on the people who let this happen! I enjoy this website very much for the right up's from guys like loves a goal and clackson14 however I don't think this is the place to bitch and complain! I sure the WAAFL will sort it out if in fact there was extra time as you claim!

It was a general statement not directed at anyone ace.

They should be seated together but what normally happens is they start their clocks together and come back 25 mins later. We tend to be lazy about it and when it turns to shit we all ask questions.

We had an issue 4 years ago were cooby ran the clock over by 5 mins to try win a game. Due to us not providing a time keeper the league said bad luck and moved on.

Maggies- did your club supply a time keeper? If they didnt then it is your own faullt. In all finals there should be a timekeeper table set up at the interchange and two parties (one from each clib) sit there and ensure yellow cards are recorded (time of qu and player number) and also if there are is any time on added as a result of stop in play. If u did have a time keeper sitting with mossie time keeper and there was a stop in play for what ever reason then the question had to be asked if time was stopped

Footy lad i am guessing you are involved at Mossie? Can you honestly say that the last quarter did not go any longer than 25mins? Or a basso ppl just bitching cos they lost?

When the head count or stop in play called did teams have to line up in middle of ground and each umpire count each teams numbers? If yes then the mossie captain called for a head count plain and simple.

Either way i can almost garauntee the ammos will not overturn this decision, and Mossies will play in a prelim final against quinns next weekend.

Would love to hear more about quinns and canning game?

You are wrong, there was definitely well over a minute of extra time played, guaranteed. The result will not change. You guys get the very last kick of the game for a goal to put you in front, then the siren sounds.
