Enthralling Test Match Cricket LH.
I thought yesterday was as an intense a day of Test cricket as I have seen in many a year India did not give us an inch with some superb bowling but we hung in there and showed some fight with the bat.
India have started to get on top of us now we have to hold on and not cave in.

Does anyone know if something was wrong with Starc? He bowled all over the shop when I thought he could be the key bowler in this 2nd innings. The Indians batted with a lot of application today and if they can add another 100 tomorrow this might prove too much for our batting line up.
From the Aussies point of view an early wicket could open it up for them again. This has been a fantastic test match.

good to see the Indians fight back and get themselves and their noses in front....up to the Aussies to walk the talk about their diligent prep for this tour....would love to see Australia chase down any total India ultimately set...if they do thay will deflate the Indians and Kohli's ego big time....win the first with the ball and hopefully win the second with the bat....big ask though...come on Mitch Marsh and others time to step up and deliver!

Aussie's learning the hard way that you cannot afford to have one bad session against India otherwise they will be all over you like a rash. That tea to stumps session yesterday was the difference between them chasing 120 and 180 which was a huge difference. You have to give Pujara and Rahane a lot of credit for their partnership which turned the match but I felt that Hazlewood was the only bowler who put them under any pressure. It's a pity that barring a miracle,Lyon's 8-50 is going to be in a losing cause.

Mitch Marsh should be packing his bags to head back to WA for the last shield match. Assuredly, he will be made the scapegoat.

Mitch Marsh should never have been in the side or the squad for that matter and he probably knows that, that's the selectors fault though, the amount of crap he cops on social media by the key board heroes is a disgrace, I believe Nic Maddison copped the same no wonder he's taken time out from the game.

The other thing he has had to put up with is the constant sniping by people like Lawson and other NSW commentators who are aggrieved that the entire NSW has been picked in the Australian team.
