Great days cricket as you said BH, both teams would take something out of the way they played. The game is still evenly balanced I feel but if the Aussies could somehow eke out another 50 or 60 to take the lead beyond 100 tomorrow, I think that Starc could be pretty lethal on this 3rd day pitch which is playing like a 7th day one. Credit particularly to Renshaw ( hard to believe he is only 21), Sean Marsh and Wade who all played gutsy knocks.

mikeh: I think the Australian chaps should win from here; the Indians have batted very poorly so far this series and it will take a major effort to change it around. Our top order, on the other hand, has really made them bowl them out which has been good to see on the sub-continent.

Grassy how in hell are Wade and the bowlers gonna make another 100-150 runs on that pitch? Reckon a lead of 80-100 will make things tough for India...no way this test will make day 5....lucky to get past lunch on day 4

Renshaw showed his test like temperament...Shaun Marsh battled hard for his score of 60 odd whilst bits and pieces from the others...still much can happen..be good if Starc and Hazlewood can do some damage early and have India 3-4 down before they get to 50....

The Aussie batsmen really fought hard today on a pitch where the ball was struggling to get ankle height on some deliverys , Stark is going to be a real danger in India's second dig.

Another 50 to 70 runs will be very handy wouldn't want to be chasing 200 in the last innings on this pitch good to see Shaun marshmallow make some runs, unfortunately MM copped a grubber , having said that very luck to be in the side batting in the top six anyway.

Credit to Wade, was very dogged in that last session as well.

India must have employed Shane Watson as their DRS coach, another couple of shockers today.

A few dropped catches havent helped our cause tho.
