As predicted Australia go in unchanged while the pitch looked like a green top a couple of days ago it now looks like a typical Sub Continent pitch after mowing and baking in the hot sun.

Reports are saying there will be a bit more in it for the quicks early days with spin coming into from day three as usual batting first in India will be a priority.

Cant wait to tune in tomorrow hoping the Aussie batmen can perform regardless of what state they come from, no doubt LeatherStops will be hoping the Marshes fail

It's back to reality for the Aussies from here on.

5 for 156 just before tea Aussies in a good position after losing the toss.

Great bowling performance. Backed up in the field and great field placements.Hope the batsman just play there shots as the wicket is playing a few tricks.

Who would of thought the Aussies would of bowled India out for under 200 in the first three innings of the test series.

This pretty much tells how bad India are playing - terrible batting performance

Incredible really that they would allow basically two net bowlers to dominate & befuddle them at home

Not too sure what Harbijhan is gonna make of Lyons figures but hey well done Gary!....Huge 2nd day here....if someone or 2 can step up and apply themselves with the bat and go deep into the day...a 150-200 lead will be series defining here.....big ask but we can only hope....

Without doubt this is the crucial day in this match and the series. If Australia could bat all day, they will be over 100 in front by stumps and in a position to put more pressure on the Indians in the 2nd innings. Ashwin and Jadeja pose a significant threat to them on a pitch that appears to be turning significantly already. 2 or 3 of the recognised batsmen need to make 50+ contributions. No matter how hard it will be to make runs on day 2, it will be a lot easier than trying to score in the 4th innings.

That was a day of real Test Cricket a hard slog batting on a tough pitch and some good Indian bowling but we managed to bat through the day. Every run from here will be like gold as we have to bat last on what could be a minefield come day 5.
