well looks like the high profile coach aint happening.....but then again Dwyer has 4 - 5 flags under his belt so the fella must have something about his coaching...especially since University don't seem to rely on ex AFL/WAFL guys coming in for their success....

can't see how McMahon would get a look in, he struggled at Perth with a few big name players in his side such as Davis, Young, Bevan etc....similar to what EF has now with anthony, ROB etc so can't see how he is gonna be successful....and Dodd well he is apparently well liked with in the club....though that win loss ratio is a concern.....

Dwyer not on the list Grey Fin whats going on? According to the West he is on the short list of 3 now that Wiley is out. Not to sure if this is all going to plan with this next appointment, looks like it could have been all eggs in the Wiley basket.

Well if all the eggs were in the Wiley basket, why not hold up on an appointment? What's the rush? FFS, I can see us ending up with another of 30's spuds and consigned to another 10 years of mediocrity. Are we a Perth in the making?

Totally agree 58 let's take a deep breath and re focus. The preferred option has pulled out so let's not appoint someone for the sake of it other wise 2016 could turn to shite extremely quickly. I will throw this one out there for debate, is there an experienced panel in place to make this appointment?

All I do is turn Up my hearing aid and listen and put the pieces together. Dodd withdrew his application this afternoon. Holy moly, what's going on. Malaxos, Dodd, 2 assistant coaches. Heaps of experience goes, and the club must now be shakinging in their boots. An experienced selection panel you think,,,,!!! I think not. Worried about the future now. Back to Malaxos with cap in hand maybe??
