I unfortunately had a function to attend at the $ubi club rooms last night and I can definitely tell you that Wheeler is still around as he Twomey, Waters and a dozen other players rocked up to the car park @ 9-10pm blind after "Rookies day" they told me. A few of them then ran around on the ground in complete darkness like school kids :)

It appears that our grand final celebrations are ongoing

What did you think of our club rooms Leedy? Just for your info, we paid for them ourselves.

TOS,

Pigs arse you paid for them yourself, the tax payer through the seat allocations contributed to the club rooms. I can tell you I did leave my mark, be interested if anyone picks it up throughout the season, and I did not spend a cent over the bar the entire evening :)

What did you do, rip up the handbrake on your Nissan Micra and do a skid in the carpark? I doubt you did anything, you're all talk just like a West Perth GF backline.

what has seat allocations got to do with taxpayers? Subi pays for the seats at each AFL game then on-sells to spectators at a premium with lunch, drinks and a guest speaker included....what has the tax payer go to do with it? unlike the jerkers who are getting $8m of funding gratis from the state govt, AFL and City of Jerkalup....now that's taxpayer funds if ever I've seen it...same same with the ferals getting a free ride into Leederville and Bogandean being redeveloped. and as for leaving something behind...knowing a jerker supporter you probably did something disgusting like pick your nose and wipe it under the seat or similar.

Basso is being redeveloped with your best interests in mind BC...the govt wants you to feel safe to park your car whilst attending Subi away matches....Subi supporters who attend away games are a dying breed and our local govt are doing what is necessary to prevent the extinction of these few rare endangered lions remaining before they are lost forever :silly: :silly: :silly:

They better be quick mate as from the age evidence of the very small number of $cumi supporters I have seen at games they might not be around too much longer!!

What so running the $ubi bar during AFL games and concert events, like ACDC this year for example, where you made a killing that no other club has access to is fair and equitable then is it! How the hell do you think you paid for your rooms at Leederville then??? Through avenues not afforded to ANY other club!! Get your head out of the sand everyone in the WAFL knows it bar you blokes!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

It's our home ground, we have every right to profit from it as much as possible. The same way that Swans use their location and massive junior zone to reap the benefits of a very strong colts side and constant flow of talented kids.

and if you take the time to read our annual report the seats deal struggled to break even due to the declining economy. the 2 AFL clubs didn't sell all of their corporate hospitality packages either..so there was a fair bit of undercutting and cost mitigation going on by Subi, WCE and the Dockers apparently...but let's get back on topic..leedy made a point that our profit was taxpayer funded...i'm saying what has taxpayers got to do with a commercial arrangement where the club BUYS tickets for each AFL game then on-sells them.

Out of interest BC who stumped up the cash to build the 2 tier stand, 3 tier stand & the most recent development back in 99 that your club has directly benefitted from and continue to do so despite not residing at the venue for 13 years?
