Just in case any of you don't know, it was announced at the Outridge Medal night that Jason Bristow, Andrew McDougall and Robbie Forrest were all retiring.
Horsley later let "slip" in his victory speech that Sean Hildebrandt may do likewise.
Josh Deluca may get picked up in the draft after 20 possessions in the GF and pretty good performances at the trials in Vic.
Horse bolted in the medal with 227 votes followed by Bristow on 155, Twomey 88, followed by Phelan and McDougall.
Twomey won player of the finals and Yarran best first year player.
Reserves award won by Joe Scaffidi followed by Bill Fetherstonaugh.
A great tribute was given to Barry Strack who as you know is retiring after many years of service to the club. He is sill undergoing Chemo but spoke very well in his final speech.
Not sure if Jarrad Kayler-Thompson will pull on the boots again after his injury this year and his age.
Hopefully we get Jarran Jacky over his family distractions etc and playing some footy next year as there is no doubting his talent. Should we get TDL back along with the delisted Woody, it will give our forward line some extra depth.
Time to enjoy summer and bask in the glory of a great season for Subi.

I'm surprised brissy is retiring after winning the Simpson. and also think it's a shame forrie is pulling the pin as he would have been very handy next year after a full pre-season. good luck to dougs...he was good for subi and pleased he went out with a premiership medallion after a long career.

Cheers Ocker, big losses there. Will free up a few pts though especially if JKT & Hilda go. Interesting to see McDonald win a clubman award, do you know whats happening with him? Will definitely need to find replacements for Bristow & McDougall.

Well done to those guy's - Big names out but a good crop of ressies to pick from and hopefully a couple of new guys to come from over east and a few home grown ex AFL's in TDL,Cockie, and Woodsy to return ? I'm not too worried at the moment as I'm still on cloud 9 - Go you mighty LIONS !!!
