No room left in the points for any more than one more recruit this year.

Probably wanted some outside pace with Menegola. Not many of our kids are overly quick. Can see Scafidi/Kitchin becoming the inside players that Bristow/Joyce were. Always gets his hands on the ball first at stoppages Scafidi...high hopes for him in 2015. Heard Joycey isn't playing but can't confirm if this is true.

From what I understand a few others haven't committed to playing yet either. Might end up with more losses than expected.

Not sure what position Lockyer plays TBH...unless they have him earmarked for CHF with Wheeler at CHB and Stockley, Madut and Bestry doing the ruckwork. Could see Cody Grace get some time at FF if Boland gets injured.

Not sure why we recruited Hancock. But maybe he'll step up?

Would like to see Max Walters get opportunities early. He's a player who I think can make an instant impact up from colts. The others might need time and some strength work.

Was mentioned that Joyce was going back to Amateurs next year and that Lockyer was probably going to start as the third tall defender but was looked as a replacement longer term for Rumble.
That will probably also free up Clancy Wheeler to do more ruck work after the loss of McDougall.

Ok, thanks...Lockyer sort of replacing Leishman then. Jackson, Heal and Creeper also vying for a permanent role as tall/medium tall defenders. So looking quite strong there.

Forward line looking good also with Yarran, Boland and C DeLuca plus mids Waters and Hampson floating through and young blokes like Halligan, Grace, Wood, Garcia, Vermeersch, D Clarke and JJ Woodley on the way up. Plus Summers who is a goalkicking wingman/HFF

You can chuck Ryan Davis from SD into that forward line too, looks like you have snared him for a good dollar !

On the coin Davo would be offered Leedy on top of Twomey last year they couldn't possibly afford to keep Horsley under the salary cap and as both are F&B winners in 2014 a straight swap should suffice....and can we throw in their tax accountant into the trade!

Not sure what it does for the comp when the team with the most money goes and gets a player a year from a club with no money, not Subi or Davis fault but hardly good for the comp.

The Swans door is open for any Subi kids that can't get a game !

I know that McDougall, JKT and even Bristow took up some points and at least two of them would have been on some reasonable coin. But seriously after the Lions recruited Wade Twomey, Matt Boland, Lachlan Delahunty last year they now have added for 2015 two delisted AFL players in Sam Menagola and Jordan Lockyer, a VFL captain in Leigh Kitchin and possibly a reining WAFL F&B in Ryan Davies who has played 114 games. Not forgetting Kyal Horsley and Shaun Hilderbrandt and Darren Rumble who would all be you would assume on a bit of coin.

They just can't possibly have all that talent there and keep it under the cap.

Thing is DG two wrongs dont make make a right mate.....really got no probs with Subi spending their dosh if you got it flaunt I say......thing is what I struggle with is that Subi have enough coin it seems to keep their mid tier players from leaving, thus meaning no one playing footy next year in the WAFL is leaving.....yeah folk are retiring or playing over east. Whilst SD or WP or EF dont want lose players like a Davis, Lockyer, Hancock, Menagola or if true a Kerr, I reckon a good few of Subi's youngsters in return would sweeten the pill some what...but even that aint happening!

That's life I guess and footy.....shit TBH Subi shouldn't of even played in this years GF, EF farked up there with kicking 7.26....so I guess there is hope there for all and perhaps the Subi hierachy know this and want to make doubly sure by loading up big time with their squad in 2015!
