Kitch named Captain again...seasoned, well credentialed, respected and a true leader. Good to see a couple of the younger guys getting in the mix. Borchet joint VC and Giro in the leadership group. Rohde also a great choice as joint VC.

Yes..agreed Coogee. He's been brilliant since coming to Subi and is a great leader. Hopefully getting Hayden and Schofield back into the team will give him more support in the midfield. Kitch, Giro, the Hickmott's, Max, Vanirsen, Snadden, Golding should start to gel a bit better this year and form a pretty good midfield group.

With Clark back the mids should start to get a better than even share of tapouts, something we haven't had since he was banned by the WAFC. Dela battled manfully but was not a true tap ruckman. BC thats 10 lads that can run through the mids rotation, something we haven't had for a couple of years, and add in Braut the Brute to open things up for the smaller mids when needed.
Like all clubs, it's about keeping our best 22 on the paddock, if we can do that we can certainly challenge for 4th or 5th spot behind the dominant top 3.

SS i am going to give you a clip over the ears for irking me by spelling Zac Clarke without the E.I also have not been happy with Eagles supporters  adding a E to Greg Clark's name.in chat rooms. Please desist or i will have to report you to the higher authorities who may have to ban you..

Hahaha...nice one Chaddy. When I first read SS' post, I also saw the spelling and for a short moment thought Greg Clark had given the toasters the arse before realising he was referring to the Zac version.

DD will probably have me sent to jail for being off topic, but who are the “toasters”?

It can be confusing when spelling or pronunciation is incorrect..I remember in 94 east perth had a clinton johnson as well as a d a clinton johnston. In 93 and 95 we also had a Lyle johnstone.Fortunately he missed 94 for some reason otherwise  it would have been very confusing..

The wet toast beagles.  I'm a dockers fan if you didn't pick that up already that's if I'm watching the pre-rehearsed, unimaginative, boring brand of footy all AFL teams play these days.
