What’s happened to Berenger, don’t see him on our website list?

Not sure what is going on with that list DG ,last update added about 5 colts who are training with the league squad but still has Bailey Matera there. Suppose there will be another update soon when they start culling some from the training squad?
Concerning that Jack Mayo not on that list too.

This was always going to happen at some point when the big payed players started retiring. Subi's well has started to run dry and now have to operate like all us mere mortal clubs. I always said you guys didn't provide as much opportunities to your own over the years and it will cost you a few years mid table or there abouts.

I see Berenger is on the list now Jjim, Matera still there and still no Mayo

Good to see Berenger now included, seem to remember Mayo did his knee just before the start of last season,  so with the usual 12 month rehab he might not be quite ready to go yet, fingers crossed he is ok.

Mayo is now on the list, Matera not on it now. Good news!

Excellent news DG, Mayo can change the whole structure of our forward line if he can stay fit. I am more optimistic about our prospects than most of bouncing back this season now.

Jjim, it's all about keeping our best 22 on the paddock each week. If we can do that, we can be in the mix for 4th or 5th behind the big 3. Hopefully Clarke can get somewhere back near his dominant 2018 form, he will be invaluable as a mentor to youngsters South and Matthews and we need to get some good value out of Schofield and Hayden through the mids, Giro is a gun but needs that extra support, Kitch is getting on so may spend a bit more time as a forward/mid, he is proven goal kicker. You are right about Mayo, he changes the whole look of the forward line and will take some pressure off Sok, hopefully Borchet can step up a level at FF, those three fit and in form make us look way more potent up forward. Our young backs in Henderson and Savigni have had a full league season under their belts so should see more improvement there, Mullane was very good in the 2's finals last year so should see a fair bit of him, a fit Braut can play down back and add some physical presence along with Gus, Rohde and Heal. Would like to see Braut spend some time in the mids rotation, he can create space for the smalls. Experienced mids in Maxy and particularly Snadden need to step up this year, Snadden has all the tools to be a very good mid but so far hasn't overly impressed. Golding and Vanirsen also need to take the next step to add to that mids rotation. So not all doom and gloom but we will need all our experienced guys playing most of the season to be in the mix.

Spot on there SS , all about getting continuity in our team which we didn’t get in 2022. Too many injuries throughout the year meant we never got going. Along with Covid disruptions were never able to have a settled side.
Hopefully too one or two of the colts from last year make the transition. Apparently Tholstrup is highly rated so he could be one of them. He will almost definitely be drafted at the end of this year.
 

Sadly Snadden has been delivering under par performances for a few years. Definitely has all the physical tools, sadly struggles to deliver on them on a consistent basis.

Can't see ex EF/Gero boy Chris Scott on your list.....is he still a chance to play this year? At 193/4 cm, definitely could hold down a key defence spot, didn't gel with Billy's critique of him, might respond to the less abrasive touch of Wardman.....

Be interesting to see how well Mayo comes back from his 2nd ACL injury....were they differing knees or the same one? Regardless, always takes time to find your mojo after such an injury, good luck to the kid. Where was Clarke playing last year? Wasn't the VFL from what I can remember.
