Yes I do remember him Ben, he might have been 6.10 too, but had to look it up and he only managed 4 league games over 4 seasons. Remember Peter Burton was 6.6 which made him a giant in that era. Peter was a very good player especially in his later years when we had a pretty shit team!. 

Peter Ellis was one of my all time faves...and such a great bloke also. Popularly known by his nickname that couldn't be used these days.

Welcome Coogee, yes met Peter Ellis many years ago at Hammersley Golf course when he joined our group for 9 holes. He was a good bloke , but was so disappointed with his round playing with us that he went around again! I think we dragged him down to our level as we were/are very average at the game and he seemed to be a few levels above that!

haha...yes Coogee, I remember Robbie Young had a nickname which wouldn't be PC today as well.

Seems we have a lot more experienced players than I gave credit for based on that team. Think I read that Beau Wardman is looking at Kyron Hayden as a bull thru the midfield this year. We fall away after the first twenty so injuries will need to be minimal this season, but some good ones coming thru! 
 

Nice work LH. I also think we'll find Hayden running through the middle with Savigni who was very impressive last year at half back.

No worries Ben, good effort in picking a side preseason , almost an impossible task as we haven’t seen anything of Berenger and there is usually one or two colts that make the transition immediately eg Stainsby who will press for a place early. Interested to watch how Tholstrup goes as we will only see him this year I believe. Liked what I saw briefly from Connor Patterson too last year.

Another positive I picked up was contained in an article in todays West RE Tyler Brockman who is now with Hawthorn but has been training with Subi whilst in Perth. He reportedly presented back in good nick so hopefully the Subi training was part of that and the other boys are also fit.

From I saw of the Subiaco colts game live and on catch up, Tholstrup, looks very promising and worth a try at the league level.
