Bishop has 27% and captain abbot with 18% of the poll votes. Forget about the rest. Abbot has indicated of not stepping aside. He has admitted to political mistakes and promised to do better. All of which still does not inspire the federal scene.

Theres no doubt about it, Turnbull is bloody popular out there, Shorten would be hoping TA stays.

Good to see both Turnbull and Bishop have indicated 'complete and unqualified' support of Abbott.

Yes UNKA2, saw it on that 24 news channel. Lucky enough to get home early and watched it.
And swan42: re- Good to see both Turnbull and Bishop have indicated 'complete and unqualified' support of Abbott
Did they say how long for? Quite often what politicians say publically and what they say privately are two different things.

Tony will lead the charge into the next election as no one likes to lose. The only good to go Shorten's way will be NO MONEY in the bikkie tin. Same as Victoria & Queensland elections. Too many time the Libs lose but leave a surplas for Labor to squander. Let Labor get a surplas. I say NO WAY. They can increase GST or cut back services.

Been half hearted to say the least. I can tell you from personal experience Bishop is VERY ambitious she will be up to something,

Did you watch Sky last night with Richo and Co , the Lib bloke gave a very candid account of the situation even Richo was shocked, says there are 25% in the party room who are ready to vote against him.

But apparently today there will be public statements from Bishop and Turnbull of support.

Yep watched it last night , 1st one for the year.

Lambie, wtf do you do with her, fair dinkum she is a moron, cheap shots and zero ideas.

The greens bird is a bit of a looker , but honestly she must hust bonged on before the show, Her big plan was to scrap fuel subs for mining and abolish coal mining , just when commodities are tanking, and investment is pulling out she comes up with that, brilliant thinking should help the balance of payments.

Swanny was there, still dreaming about a mining tax, how would that be going now?

Senator Maddigan seemed half normal and not a bad bloke, but if he honestly thinks we are going back to high tariffs and protectionism so we can buuld Astor TV;s here he needs a tardis machine. he then went on try and justify the Collins Class Subs project shambles as a minor hickup whilst admitting the Germany and Japan buuld better subs anyway.
