Agreed Baz. Although no-one in government is saying it, I reckon Elbow took a bigger hit than the polls are indicating over his total backing of the Voice and the way he handled it. It throws up real question marks around his judgement, credibility and ability to read the room.

If I was a Labor backbencher or even a junior Minister, I'd be hitching my hook to potential alternative PMs, as I don't think Elbow will be at the wheel for the next election.

Yes he certainly did take a huge hit! More than what is publicly acknowledged.
And now dopey old dutton has a chance at becoming the next pm  .
And he will be just as bad as the former and current one!
Too many issues now need attention in this country and airbus Anthony is too "busy" attending and flying overseas events. Not enough is being done to sort Australia's problems which are spiralling out of control. And old marles has questions to answer too with his very dubious excuses for all his travel!!!

I see a Council in SA has announced they are dumping the Welcome/Acknowledgement to Country, ABC in uproar.....

Sounds to me like you live in a nice neighbourhood Dwert with not too many black fella's in it. You obviously don't live in Midland or Karrawarra which was recently labelled Hell by locals even including good decent Aboriginals. Remember that only a few months ago an Aboriginal woman was attached in her car and died from the blow.

Yep, you probably know which suburbs to avoid and chose to live in a suburb full of hard working law abiding citizens. Unfortunately for me I could only afford to buy what is probably my last home in a cheaper area. Got a nice 3x2 with all the mod cons in a nice little group of 4 and well off the street but my home has been attached/intruded at least 4 occasions in 6 years and the common fence kicked in.

One guy was ringing my doorbell at 12.08am , when I didn't answer he smashed my two cctv cameras with a tomahawk. If cops didn't come who knows what would have happened. I just had the front porch painted that day and he marked it with the edge of his tomahawk while he was climbing on my wheelie bin to smash one of my cctv cameras.

I won't describe what another Aboriginal woman did you might be eating your lunch. My car has been attacked on 2 separate occasions as I was pulling out of my driveway, a group of about 5 young men, one of them threw a can at the back of my car, the other more recent incident you know about I told a week or so back.

I could go on in fact I could write a book on what I've seen in the Midland area in coming up six years. It is absolutely shocking. It's such a shame as Midland has so much to offer.  Relocate some of these people to your neighbourhood I say.

And you say this kind of behaviour is from a past era? What world are you living in? I don't ever remember this kind of behaviour being worse. And late last year had a window smashed by an Aboriginal throwing a projectile while I was driving slowly through James St Northbridge.

I drive a taxi. Was told by the cops who caught him, he is homeless has no fixed address. Waste of time taking him to court. I was $680 out of pocket just for the repair not including lost earnings. Taxi insurance doesn't cover glass breakage.

We have become a nation of apologists that allows excuses for poor behaviour. Australia is going down the toilet at a rapid rate and they are running out of bandaid solutions.

Have you ever had a positive interaction with an Aboriginal person ? You know there are some good ones out here. You dont need look past your beloved footy club to see one , Cooky is a quality man have a chat with him when you see him at the club you might be pleasantly surprised, stop being so bitter and twisted toward all Aboriginal people.
By the way mate I did have the ability to choose where I live, I did it as a result of hard work and I never sought any favours from anyone...

See how fucking delusional you are. It's my fault according to you because you can't acknowledge the cold hard facts. I must do something to provoke it like being asleep in bed, driving to and from work. I don't think you or Cooky would call out this kind of behaviour if you witnessed it. You would turn the other cheek and walk right past it.
