And only two GF"s over 25,000 this century.2010 SD v Cmt+2013 in think another EP v WP GF.Maby a Perth grandfinal appearance or a Freo derby will get us close to 30 k these days.

Got my ticket for tonight's historic semi final. I went to the Geelong v Collingwood match last year in Perth thinking this will never happen again, now we have AFL finals in Perth not involving WC or Freo. They were saying on the radio yesterday 40,00 seats were already sold. I've paid a bit extra and gone second tier around the middle of the ground. Going to be a bit chilly though. Pity Toby isn't playing, it takes a bit out of it and I expect Geelong to win based on his absence.

Fark me, what disgusting umpiring.  Not sure that I’ve ever seen a display as bad as that in the WAFL?  Obviously: Mr Scott rings Gill Dill and tell him that his team WILL win tonight. Gill says, no worries mr Scott, it’s all set.  That’s not what we needed to showcase the best stadium in the Southern Hemisphere.

Just over 44,000 there tonight. I was speaking to Geelong supporters after the game they reckon they wouldn’t have got anywhere near 44,000 at the MCG and Alphabet stadium only holds 36,000.

Had the best Rogan Josh ever in the stadium. Brilliant.

If they are the best umpires in the AFL we are in strife. They might as well have had blue and white hoops on.

I think Mummy is one of the most underrated ruckmen around.
DD, was the food service as slow as the news feed says, or are they making a mountain out of a molehill….as usual?

Sharkie firstly it was bloody frustrating trying to find the right avenue to my level and block (I was on level 3 block 347 - a boxed area) and one of the ladies in yellow didn’t have a clue and sent me in the wrong direction. I got there in plenty of time to see the opening ceremony I thought but alas after spending about 20 minutes walking up and down level one and up to level 3 and told I’m in the wrong area and had to go back down to level 1 again and back in the direction I was heading previously, I was sweating like a pig by the time I got there.

There were fairly big queues to buy drinks and the guy in front of me said why aren’t they pouring the drinks so you can just grab them and go to the checkout like they used to at Subi and I said they do that at HBF(formerly NIB). Maybe because they have a lot more choices. Anyway by the time I got served I thought stuff it I’ll buy two Single Fins just for myself and missed the opening ceremony and first few minutes of the game.

I was a bit late coming back after half time and virtually went straight to the counter to get a nice curry at the start of the third qtr so probably dodged the queues but I did witness big queues which I found a little surprising. Apparently according to Perth Now lots of people complained on Twitter with one saying it’s not like this at full house Eagles games so what’s going on there? 

Can’t get enough staff maybe due to our strict borders? That seems to be the common theme I’m hearing on radio lately.

Agree Mike Rayser Ray was terrible last night.And should not umpire another final in 2021..Betcha Geelong would love him to do there next game.
