Prelim sold out in 3 hrs , all gone by 8.45pm last night,

expect the GF to go in about 20 minutes.

Just reading in the west that only 10,000 seats will be set aside for the general public for the GF at $185 to $450 each!!
12k seats each allocated to the 2 competing clubs go on sale 9am Monday & Tuesday next week. There will be no priority period for WC or Freo members, any left over tickets from the competing teams will be added to the public pool. if Port make the GF they will definitely take up their full allocation as thee are no travel restrictions for SA, plus they will get first dibs at any leftovers from the other competing club which will be a Vic team. 

So the 10k plus the 24k seats only makes 34k, thats 24k set aside for corporates, sponsors, freeloaders and hangers on. FMD!!!

Was just going to post on the near 27,000 seats going to free loaders, absolutely disgraceful, just shows how many hangers on their are, and bear in mind the vast majority will be locals WAFC and crew with free tickets for family and friends.

Most of those are corporates and package deals with a prime seat, dinner, lunches, drinks etc included. The cheapest I saw was for around $1700pp and they're still available. The corporates and package sales is where the AFL makes most of its money so no surprises there.

Demons into the granny in impressive fashion over Dad’s Army. Chris Scott started just about every answer to post match questions with, I don’t want it to sound like I’m making excuses, then came out with excuse after excuse.

Just really disappointed by Geelongs performance last night.They only played 10 minutes of decent footy late in the second.And threw in the white towel early in the 3rd
 

Geelong simply didn't come out after half time.....Melbourne were red hot..... Will be an interesting off season down at Kardinya Park......can only off load so many....TBH Geelong need to stamp a few of those players cards pronto.....

Eddie Maguire made an interesting comment last night on Fox about the hundred million dollar redevelopment of Kardinya Park suggesting they should have made the ground the size of the MCG. While I don’t agree with that, it should have been made the same size as Marvel which I think is the same dimensions as Optus.

The size of the MCG is ridiculous. Anyone who gets a chance next time you visit Lathlain have a walk around the Eagles MCG oval out the back. It is ridiculous how deep those wings, flanks and pockets are.

But I’ve always been of the belief there should be minimum size requirements for AFL grounds and Kardinya Park and the SCG don’t meet those requirements. Geelong and Sydney clearly have a powerful home ground advantage but does that catch them out on bigger grounds?

Wasn't last night meant to be sold out? I saw quite a few empty's. Looks like the scalpers fucked up this time, what a shame, wankers. Hopefully it doesn't happen too badly with the granny
