Absolute disgrace that a government that is running a multi billion dollar surplus can let this happen while in its 5th year of government. heads must roll. Can you imagine what sort of slash and burn job the usual media culprits would be doing if this was under a Lib government, would be a totally different story with relentless demands for the health minister to go, but ..........

The concerning thing for me SS is that this whole health fiasco was only raised by the AMA after the election and not by the opposition in the lead up to it. That goes to show how useless the likes of Kirkup and co were back then as they should have been hammering ramping, delayed elective surgeries, code yellows, health worker morale etc at every available opportunity during the election campaign. It wouldn't have changed the end result but may have limited the carnage to some extent.
