If he has an issue with Perth that saw this go all the way to arbitration, why would he go back??

You blokes have fucked it- it’s what shit clubs do

Your club has pursued a contracted player for two years (breaching wafl rules in the process), got in the ear of a talented young footballer, shown the whole competition no respect, made an absolute mess of trying to poach a player with the end result the WAFL, which needs all the best players it can get on the park, will likely see Cody not playing at this level next year.

And you have the audacity to call Perth a shit club.

I’m actually really proud of PFC, and proud to be a member. As others have stated, we’ve stood up and drawn a line in the sand for our club, as well as protected the integrity of ‘contracts’.

Let’s be very clear here, East Fremantle have made an absolute balls up of this, have treated Perth (and the wider competition) with no respect whatsoever, and have come out of this with huge reputation damage.

I'm all good STT, reading the criteria for Eligibility for transfer- Ninyette was ineligible, the same as Leggett. I haven't seen Perth play much but I thought both would be similarly rated as players. So i'm not sure why one has been easily catered for and the other hasn't. Yes, Leggett has a contract. But if Perth had've said no to a Ninyette transfer, SF would still have to go through the same process that Leggett did. Thats my understanding from the Rules and Regs on the WAFC site.

It’s not that hard mate - Ninja, out of contract, SF follow correct process and clubs collaborate.

Leggett, contracted and EF broke every rule in the book.

It’s pretty fucken simple my friend. A little like yourself obviously.

Lets not call the first Demons v EF game the Cody Leggett cup, lets call it the Brian Peake cup after someone who has actually played for both teams.

Another example of the "great club" EF are.

Of all the Perth people, only Smokester has refrained from make believe Buffalo innuendo and hearsay during this Leggett saga....please explain ....or at least provide some proof of what the EF buffalo has been whispering into Leggetts ear...

Leedy Perth have come out on top mate, so not sure what you are talking about...they have kept the WAFL contract sacred....which as you say was a necessity to keep the comp from turning into a monetary free for all...not too sure what can be added to top their topness any further mate in this saga...besides Cody suiting up for Perth, winning a state guernsey, kicking more snags then Masto from half back, winning a Perth premiership and then securing an AFL contract for 2021.

Freeze,

I never said Perth HAVE come out on top, I said I think they will come out on top. Just wait for it to unfold, you will see what I mean.

No Leedy, I think I did mate, happy to admit it...so whatever you know will unravel itself and eventuate, will merely strengthen what I have just said and what many others here have said....that Perth have come out on top in this Leggett saga....but I guess your post will intrigue all n sundry with its mystery...thus keep folk interested that smidgen longer.

Leedy clearly said keep watching PFC "will" come out on top... And like Leggett's contract, for some reason only EF supporters can't understand why. So I'll dumb it down in short sentences and words for you.... Contracted Perth players will no longer seek higher paid contracts from other clubs (Perth wins). Perth now have a valid reason to seek points assistance (Perth wins). EF have been exposed as the new dirty little bitches of the competition (Perth wins). Leggett will now never have a chance at AFL (Perth wins).

Locked out (or maybe lucked out) on your site so now you want to clog up the Perth site.
Just when do you EF boys accept that you have lost out and just let go?
At least take your sob stories elsewhere.

On 6PR last night, Buffalo said Strnadica to Perth was a done deal. Then he changed his mind.

What’s that? Perth talking to a contracted, ineligible player?? Tsk, tsk. Even then they couldn’t get the deal done
