Wonder what Leggett will do now. He has burned a lot of bridges at PFC but he may need to swallow his pride and see out his contract if he has any pretensions to be drafted into the AFL ( which I think he has zero hope of anyway). The other thing for Perth to consider is whether his return would be disruptive to the rest of the group seeing that he obviously does not want to be there. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

It was a tough call for Perth as I can see both sides of the coin...do they tough it out and make him stick to his contract and get SFA if he plays ammos this year whilst also sending a message to other contracted players or trade on someone who doesn't want to be there and get something for him? I guess they chose what was right for the club and not the individual and good on them for that.

AFL teams manage despite players seeking a trade or being shopped around by their club. Jagger and Richards have hated each other for years but kept recording and touring. This is no different. The club wants to win games and Leggett wants to get play well to get drafted. That is all anyone needs to make it work.

I said some time ago, what Cody needs, is a decent manager.

It will be interesting to see it play out.
If the Club wants him to play, and whether the playing group is happy to have him play.
What he needs to do if he does come back is to give it his best.
Or his integrity takes a hit.
