Well he’s obviously not being paid Smokey so he can please himself if he hates us that much. I don’t for one minute take it as gospel that EF offered 20k transfer fee just because it was written in the papers but if it’s true I would take it. That’s double what we are going to get in 12 months time unless Perth FC knows something we don’t? Maybe transfer fees are going to double?

But if the status quo is max 10k then I’d take 20k in a heartbeat. We can’t afford to be arrogant and sneeze at that. We’ve lost him that’s a given but we have every right to say no transfer if EF are only offering standard fare or chump change more.

The new GM summed it up well on the Yeo and Masto show today. IMO Cody is being a spoilt little bitch if he plays Ammos.

If he needs a clearnce to play Ammos I say don't give it.
Under no circumstances should we clear him at any stage to EF.
We have made a stance and should stick by it.

Unfortunately he's immersed himself among the EF crowd now and North Fremantle seems to have become a retirement home for EF players. He probably considers himself one of them now.

Perth needs to push for points concession if we lose him even if that's next year.

I agree DD re points concession if we lose a I point player like Leggett.
I do not think Leggett is in any way helping his AFL prospects with his determination to play ammos with NF.
I will be interested to find out was said at his meeting with Dayle Ballantine today. I hope he didn't postpone it again.

I suspect that he will not keep any meeting with PFC.

The way I read it (in The West) Smokey he has no intentions of meeting with Perth and has informed them he is prepared to spend the year playing ammos. So he’s happy to give up $500+ per week and kiss any AFL dreams goodbye and I reckon he would have been a shoe in for a state berth this year. Idiot surrounded by idiots. He’s chosen his poison.
