Not sure we can read too much into that but we'll be sure to let you know if/when we get confirmation from the club. Tropiano is listed on our website also.

Another new addition to our list on the wafl site is Jacob Peletier from Subi colts

www.wafl.com.au/player/jacob-peletier

Maybe one of the Subi lads can tell us a bit about him? I found a glowing review of him in a game against SF where he got 38 touches, but am keen to hear a more balanced view

Tidy stats in colts last year. Another Esperance boy at the club. There are several on our list including Mickey Bennell. Julian Jacobs was from Ports also via Subi.
This lad looks like a midfielder. Any intel Subi boys ??.

He had 38 touches vs Souths and did not make the best player list.
A close low scoring game with Subi dominating possession.
Subi best players had 43, 39, 38 disposals. Jacob also 38 no mention.

Masten..yes our top recruit more than covers the loss of CJ.
Murphy..yes has had injury problems but I believe that he can play so our Strength & Fitness will, no doubt, be watching his fitness regime very closely.
Delahunty..still not confirmed by the club but considered a tall forward who can also ruck.
Stubbs..unconfirmed ability. Not tall but, he seems to know where the goals are and enjoys nailing them. Looks a Sokol type. Not suggesting he is in that class but we will see what he offers.
Amos & East..two young talls, untried. Hopefully they may develop but neither are the answer to our immediate ruck problems atm.
Martin.. joined us last year as a forward and showed promise in the ressies. Still untried at league level. Needs to build his body strength. Looks like he can play so hopefully he is in the gym and on a high carb diet.
Davis.. Joined us last year and worked his way into the league side late. Showed promise as a small defender. Maybe develop into a "run with" player. He has a good build and could possibly develop into an in and under mid..IMO
There is a bit there for the coaching team to work on. Will be interesting to see how many of the colts boys transition to senior ranks. Though the colts side had a disappointing season there were several playing regular u/18s and PSA which weakend the side for long periods. The AFL draft may rob us of 2 or 3.
Tropiano and McInnes would be huge bonuses if.....

Not sure why you've included Davis on the list. He played colts for Perth in 2018 and then moved up and played reserves and league this year. Hardly a recruit.

Cesspit, I included Davis and Martin as promising young players with potential to develop.
Austin Davis, in his 5 games this year showed both coolness, courage and toughness. In one incident I saw him heading into dangerous territory and momentarily thought "don't go there son" but he committed and won the contest. So, IMO, I will be looking forward to watching his development with great interest.
Christian Martin did not make his league debut this year but probably did earn the opportunity. He certainly has potential, has a bit of height but lightly framed.
Had a good season in the ressies kicking goals but he has to build his body strength if he wants to aspire to a key forward role. I believe he has upside and look forward to him working his way into league contention.
They were the reasons for including them. As far as I am concerned they are both recruits to league level so it is a bit of a moot point that you raise.

Obviously I hope that guys like Stubbs, Delahunty and Martin can become very good players for us, but I really rate Blake Johnson and think he should be a permanent fixture in our forward line. Injured most of last season, but hopefully with a full pre-season he can have a real impact. Smokey, I think you can regard BJ as a new recruit using the same rationale you applied to Davis and Martin. I also hope Josh Burke gets more opportunity in the league team, he is a good height, good pace and can play forward or back.
