I'll say it again...look at who was in charge of 'recruiting' (and it wasn't the coach) and therein lies the problem.

You can't blame the Duke. He arrived at five minutes to midnight. McMahon did a lot of leg work with recruiting in his time, even paid his own way to go over east but when he went it fell to someone who I am rapidly concluding hasn't got a clue and is using this club to get credentials which are undeserving.

I stop short of making comments about the current administration because I'm not there and can't know details of what is going on. But I would hope that each year we have an established "football committee" that is charged with an overall list analysis, including colts, reserves, and league. This committee should be concerned with tracking the development of individual players within the club, and searching for available talent outside the club. We need to plan to win a flag. This committee should be an active presence in list development in consultation with the coaches. Establishing relationships with former players in the East would be a good start to ensure we have eyes on the ground over there.

Im blaming the time frame we had to recruit...we had plenty and we didnt captalize on that remembering McMahon got sacked mid-year!

Someone,anyone should have gone all out to get that elusive tall forward or key forward that we know we need to at least challenge for a spot in the 4.

For mine to much damage has now been done ie.player losses combined with poor recruiting sees us imo at least 6 quality players short of being a top 4 team!

I doubt we can recover from this and perhaps thats the end game plan for those upstairs to throw at members for the start of the 2018 season,"look we are crap and this is the only way out"!!!!...we all know what that is.

I've seen a big turnaround in attitude in relation to the alignment.
Comments directly to me have gone from we never spoke to WCE and would never entertain alignment.
To that's out of our hands.
It's all in the funding for the new facilities.

Why don't you blokes lead the way with some positive remarks and it may rub off onto your players. I understand that there have been many lean years and I can tell you that it will be a massive struggle this year, trust in the people you have appointed at playing level and watch the positive turn around over the next year or two !

My whole point is make no mistake that the players read your comments, how would they be feeling about the people in the stands don't rate them, they would be scared to make a mistake.

It's all well and good supporters from other clubs coming on here and being patronising you fellas wouldn't really know what it's like to be in our shoes.

I have heard about the FB page, hence why the PFC sent that "Stick by us" letter. Hardly patronising, shits me when I read the Perth thread and its just a slag fest Northy ! Agreed some people need to be weeded out, let Earl and the other coaches do their thing and results will come in the near future. West Perth's 1975-1995 drought I remember clearly so I know what no success is all about !

You may not have won a flag in that time period but you certainly were not starved for finals action,you still played in about 9 finals series in that time frame.

We have gone 38 years without a flag and in that time we have been in ony 2 finals series and our last final was 18 years ago!
Not only are we starved of Premiership success but just participating in any sort of final has been a drought!!

Supporters on all clubs forums have at one time or another turned on there team,coach etc....its just not as much as us because others clubs droughts or bad runs just dont last as long as ours.

How did Jacob Payne go this week. I see he got a lot of possesions. Sorry if you have discussed him in the previous 10 pages.

KK he did ok but looking at the game last Saturday there were no real standouts. Should still keep is place this week and lets hope for a better showing and even better a victory.
